I'm not quite sure how to respond to his compliment, which is strange to me because compliments never leave me speechless. Usually, I respond with a smartass remark. Luckily, I'm saved by the fairy bringing our drinks to our table. She sets my glass in front of me and as I look up at her while she puts Glaive's drink in front of him, I notice that she seems to have purposely exposed more of her cleavage for him. I let out a small growl. Before I can say anything to her, Glaive looks at her and says "I don't like easy prey, darlin'. I like to work for the things that I want." He then looks at me and winks. The fairy huffs and walks away. I couldn't help but laugh as she storms off. "That was a great response," I say. He lets out a small laugh as well. "I was only speaking the truth, my dear," he says. I take a drink of my whiskey and tilt my head slightly. "So how did your hear about this lovely bar, Glaive?" I ask. He looks as though he is contemplating the his response. I study his features while he answers. "An old friend told me about this place. He said that he was sure that I would enjoy being here." He gives me another look over and grins. "And I'm already quite enjoying it." I smile at him and finish my drink. "Well I must say that I'm actually enjoying your company," I say.

I hear Gideon's voice call my name from the bar. I look over at him and he points to the clock on the wall. I glance at the clock and realize it's time for me to go back home. I nod in acknowledgement then turn back to Glaive. "Unfortunately, I must leave now. Lucifer doesn't like it when I'm late," I say. I stand up and when I do, Glaive stands up also, reaching out and gently grabbing my hand. "When can I see you again, my dear?" he asks. I look down at his hand holding mine then back up to his dark eyes. "I'll be here again in two days." I smile at him. "I hope I'll see you then." I snap my fingers and I'm back in my room.
