Welcome to the first week of the second cycle of the Once Upon a TIme book club! I am excited to kick this cycle off. For those who were in the previous cycle: Welcome back; and for the new members: Welcome! I believe we have a strong selection of books for everyone to read so lets begin!
The first book of our book club is my own book, Precedence. Here is a quick summary of the story:
Einstein once said; "World War III will be a fought with nuclear weapons. But World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones." Einstein never expected this.
The world changed a long time ago.
Vampires, werewolves and witches are real. Supernatural beings are real and are being hunted by governments all around the world, starting a war that we all know as the Great War.
Into this world an orphan girl, Ella, is born. She’s lived her whole life thinking she’s a human, on the side of those who consider themselves not the spawns of the devil. But Ella is a rare type of witch that’s been nearly wiped out of existence. Ella is a Mancer, coming from a powerful line of witches. With her fast-developing abilities, Ella has to find a way to end the war between the humans and supernaturals while being hunted by the very beings she used to call ‘my kind’.
