Prolog.

      Shadow-hunter, since I could remember that's all I've ever been nothing more, nothing less. oh yea I should probably tell you who I am beside's just a shadow-hunter of course right well my name is Alexander Lightwood, I have a little sister named, Isabelle she's younger than me, I have a younger brother as well named, Max, We have an adopted brother, his name is Jace, not only is he our adopted brother but he's my parabatai. If you were wondering a parabatai is a pair of warriors who fight together as lifelong partners, bound together by oath, regardless of their gender. Their bond is not reflected only in their closeness and willingness to lay down their lives for one another, but also in oath-one sworn in front of. Not all Shadow-hunters are required to have parabatai; it is actually less common to have them. A Shadow-hunter has only eighteen years to find and choose a parabatai; once older than that, the ritual is no longer open to the Shadow-hunter.

      Anyways let's continue on shall we? Clary, she's a redhead, kinda overly emotional, dramatic, she is also Jace's girlfriend, also a shadow-hunter. Oh, yea did I mention that her father is Valentine?! one of our biggest enemies. She's has come to prove herself she's nothing like her father. Our Parent's... My parent's they are ex-clave members, they occasionally help out with things here at the institute, or they occasionally help the clave out. But yea, that's my story and I'm sticking to it, just a pathetic sad boy with a huge secret that no one knows... So.. I forgot to mention a couple other people, Simon Lewis he's a vampire, also Clary's best friend. Then there is Raphael Santiago he's also a vampire, who has a little. Okay, huge crush on Simon. But no one needs to know that right?

    Someone else you should know about, Magnus Bane, who's that? you must be wondering well he is the high warlock of Brook-land. He helps us ( the Shadow-hunters ) occasionally, he saved my life once before, as well as Clary's. I often think back to the day I actually First met Magnus. I'm not sure why, but it somehow makes its way into my head, every single day.  That was about two month's ago, and I haven't Seen/been in contact with Magnus since then. I just... oh boy... I don't even know what I am trying to say right now, to be honest. I often find myself for about the past month having the same exact nightmare every night, I haven't slept for probably three days. 

--------- Great what now? I think as I'm getting out of the shower, the alarms around the institute are going crazy. I get dressed and hurry to the rest of the group. "there's something outside the institute." said Clary.",  "Okay, Jace, Clary, And I will go check out who our visitor is, Izzy you stay here and make sure we get no surprises yea?" I spoke up getting their attention. They all nodded and off we went.  

  HELLO BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE!!! I just wanted to say thank you for reading. I have a whole lot more to this story for i have already wrote it onto paper so i will upload as much as i can. and i need a good title to title this story so suggestion?
