The thunder screaming like a newborn child. Ripping the roots out of the ground, demolishing the surrounding forest leaving nothing but upturned soil. The blanket of the night sky blocking out any possible light. Making all hope of the storm stopping. With all the power off and with no help to be found, the blonde beauty carefully dodged all the debris that was thrown down at her.
Sneakily stepping through the forest her dress, deep blue flowing down to her ankles, swayed back-and-forth with power. Drenching her with water slapping her cold icy skin.
The wind whistles dangerously into her ears warning her of what's about to come. Getting louder and louder the wind smashed at her brain.
She fell down, down onto her knees covering her ears as if a dozen wolves howled all at once.
Her scream bounced off of every skeleton tree branch, which was stripped from their leaves, ready to accept the cold hard winter conditions. This created a loud echo that was heard from miles away.
Removing her fragile hands away from her ears she felt a substance, the blonde woman held her hand up to the only light that was guiding her and tricking her, the moon. Rich, streaky, scarlet red covered her petite hands.
'Blood,' she said to herself. 'Blood.'
Picking her knee off the cold, wet, muddy earth she launched her bootlegged foot into the mud making a squelching sound, pulling herself up to her feet. Yet no one helped.
............................................................................
At the other side of the forest, a shadow stood, knees deep into the ground. Hands palm down into the mud ready to attack at any moment. The beast sniffed the air, the smell of blood hits nose inhaling deeply with discomfort. It pounced jumping over every fallen tree effortlessly.
Moving nearly as fast as light, it was already on the other side of the forest, her side.
It watched her, watched her struggle with the weather pulling her back-and-forth.
It jumped up onto a branch that once held its weight. Looking down at her shivering in the September cold, its face softened.
The branch that once held its weight was hit with a source of power, making the branch under its feet to snap. Making it tumble down onto the floor. Right in front of her.
Her screech echoed once again making the beast hold its ears in pain. She saw the pain she caused and quickly fell down to it.
The fur that covered its face disappeared into his skin leaving a man lying in front of her instead of a wolf.
She grabbed her Ancient cloak from around her body and wrapped it around his body keeping him warm.
Yet he knew this wouldn't help because he never gets cold but at least it covered his body.
He turned to her, his eyes, forest green, shone in the moonlight making all her worries disappear as she stared into his great big eyes.
Her voice barely a whisper escaped her mouth. "Are you okay?"
Her voice was heard clearly in his ears. As if bells had gone off, he and wrapped his strong arms around her small petite frame.
To say she was shocked was, to say the least. She froze memorizing what the hell was going on and how she was here. She hastily wrapped her arms around his strong built-up frame keeping the heat between them.
