the hangout chapter 16

Ariana's POV

it's finally friday night time to chill and hangout with friends even though i just found out Ansel is gonna be there cause kendall forgot to tell me sooner i threw on a long purple shirt with long sleeves, threw my hair in a long pony tail and curled it i put on some skinny jeans and black boots i apply some make up grab my phone and head to the living room 

"so what time is he coming?" i ask kendall

"7pm it's 6:55pm now baby" he says 

"okay, i was just asking yes he's my favorite actor but damn" i say crossing my arms 

kendall looks hurt i roll my eyes "i meant that i'm not with" i say 

he laughs "i'm just picking on you" kendall says laughing 

~7pm~

"hey dude" kendall says 

"hey man hope you didn't mind i brought my girlfriend jessica" he says 

"no problem man hi jessica i'm kendall ariana's boyfriend" he says 

she smiles "jessica nice too meet you" she says sitting next to ansel

"hi again ariana" ansel says to me 

i smile "hello" i say 

"ariana this jessica my girlfriend and this is ariana the girl i ran into who is also a fan of me" ansel says to jessica who gives me the death glare but fake smiles 

"it's nice to meet ya the names jessica" she says shaking my hand 

i smile "you too jessica" i say shaking hers 

"wine coolers anyone?" kendall asks 

"you know my kind babe" i say smiling 

"yes black cherry fizz" kendall says handing me mine 

"thank you baby" i say kissing his cheek which seems to piss ansel off why i don't know don't ask me please i'm already stressed out as is 

"no problem beautiful" he says sitting next to me with his berry 

"i don't know how you can drink that it tastes funny to me" i say 

"well, maybe it's just the kind he likes" jessica says 

i remain quiet and look down 

"jessica? a word please babe" ansel says 

"sure baby" she says looking at me 

"what is you're deal? ariana is a sweet girl if you're jealous you have nothing to worry about i'm with you and she's with kendall so chill the fuck out and let's have a good night" ansel says walking back into the living room

"where's ariana?" he asks 

"oh she's needed a smoke break" kendall says akwardly 

"yeah i'm sorry about jessica she's just protective is all" ansel says scratching the back of his neck 

"it's cool man she doesn't have to worry" kendall says 

"that's what i told her but you know how females are" he says 

they laugh "yes bro you're good and so is jessica" kendall says 

"i should go appolozige to ariana also" ansel says getting up 

"hey ariana?" ansel asks 

"oh umm hi i don't think we should talk alone i don't wanna piss jessica off" i say finishing my cig and going in 

"about that i'm sorry about her i'm gonna talk to her tonight when we go home" he says 

"alright, cause i'm just a fan and you are awesome but yeah i'm taken" i say going in i feel him smirk but i ignore it and sit next to kendall 

"sorry about that" ansel says which seems to enrage jessica 

i whisper to kendall "i'm about to speak up" 

he whispers back" just try to ignore it i don't get it either baby but hold and squeeze my hand if you wanna speak up again okay?" kendall whispers holding out his hand 

i take it and sip my drink 

"so how long have you and ariana been together?" jessica asks 

"a couple of months" kendall says 

"nice" she says 

"what about you and ansel?" he asks 

"1year" she says smiling 

"nice that's a long time" kendall says 

"yep, and hopefully marriage is next" she says looking at ansel 

he pats her hand "jessica we've talked about this" he says 

"if ya'll need to talk you can use the balcony it has a beautiful view" i say 

"thanks ariana but it's alright we will talk later let's just have some fun now" ansel says 

"as long as you're sure" i say sipping my drink 

"yeah we are fine" jessica says 

"hey girl" camille says 

"hey where have you been?" i ask

"out with dustin wbu?" she asks

"hanging relaxing as you can tell" i say 

"slaying as well" she says sitting down

"here you go babe" dustin says hanging her a strawberry and him a blueberry 

"oh hello i'm camille ariana's roomate and this is my boyfriend dustin" camille says 

"i'm ansel elgort and this is my girlfriend jessica" ansel says 

"nice to meet you dustin and camille" she says with a fake smile 

"everything okay?" dustin asks 

"yeah why?" i ask

"nothing just seems werid in here like werid vibes" dustin says 

i give him a look and he nods getting what i mean "well, what do we wanna do tonight? it's friday night we can't be boring old people" he jokes 

"night swimming?" i ask

"night swimming" ansel says 

we all change kendall lends ansel some swim wear i change into my black bikini that goes great with my tanned legs i take my hair down and let it flow freely 

once we are all changed we head to the pool i see ansel looking at my tanned legs i try to ignore it because of his girlfriend god i don't need anymore drama camille and dustin are having a water fight then i jump in 

"no one attacks her without back up" i joke 

dustin laughs and splashes me "oh really? that's how it is?" i ask splashing harder 

as we are splashing i see ansel staring more and more and it's making me uncofortable this is like the third time he's done something like this tonight why? he's an actor with a girlfriend i a singer with a boyfriend this can't happen right?
