Ok here it is me sitting here wondering what's taking me so long to make a move. This girl has been my childhood sweetheart for as long as I can remember but I can't bring myself to go to her. "Trey are you staying for dinner?" my mom said.
"Oh yeah mama I am. You can fix me a set at the table."

My mom is my heart. She does all she can for me and my brother Forrest. She bends over backwards to cook for us and all. I make sure my mom wants for nothing. I pay all her bills. That's the least I can do.

Forrest came busting in my room like he about to have a heart attack.
"Bro guess what?" Forrest said.
"What man?" Trey said all sarcastically.
"Your girl is next door outside."
"Who?" Trey asked.
"Destiny."
"Oh shit for real?"
"Yeah and she is fine as hell bruh."
"Ok I'm about to go out there."
I ran out the door and there she was. Still beautiful as ever. I walked over and said well hello.
"Trey is that you?" Destiny asked.
"In the flesh."
"Omg how have you been?"she asked as she jumped on me hugging me.
"I'm good how you been?"
"I'm great. I'm actually here visiting my mom. I just moved back home." Destiny said.
"Oh really now?" Trey asked raising his eyebrow.
"Yeah so how life been treating you?"
"Great actually. You know mama cook for us every Thursday so here I am."
"Yeah I get that. I haven't seen your mom in a while."
"She's in there go holler at her."
"Ok I will." Destiny said.
Forrest came out "so?"
"Man chill the fuck out nothing happened. Not yet anyway." Trey said.
"She's going in to speak to mama."
"Damn bro you need to take your chance man." Forrest said as a matter of fact.
"I will. I got to be smooth with it." Trey said to his brother.
"Do she know your track record?"
"Hell nah. And I ain't trying to tell her so you need to bring your damn voice down." Trey said to Forrest.
"Ok man chill out but let's go and get on this 2k until dinner is ready."
"Aight bet let's go. It ain't like you gonna beat me anyway." Trey said waking in the room.
"Shid let's get it. Loser pays $100." Forrest said sitting down.
