PART 6.

ELLIE POV:
I wake up from my dream and slam my hand down on the clock which is blaring and says 05:30, I climb out of bed and get ready for the day, once I'm ready I leave my apartment in London and walk to my hospital. The good thing about starting work early in the morning is that there aren't as many people out and about, I clock in at 05:52 and get ready for a long days work, starting with a cup of tea. Like usual the day is long, but so worth it, what can I say, I love helping people. Being a Doctor is the best decision I ever made, but the only thought running through my head day in day out is 'Could I do more?' I clock out at at 10:35 at night I walk home, it's dark out and a little scary, but I've been doing this route since I started working at the hospital so I'm used to it. As soon as I arrive home I shower and head to bed, as soon as my head hits the pillow I instantly fall asleep.

I'm not woken up by an alarm this time, when I sit up I can tell I'm no longer in my London apartment, I'm in my New York one, my dream life. I climb out of bed and look at the calendar at my bedside, it's my birthday and I'd been too busy to notice "Happy birthday to me." I smile to myself and get ready for the day, but instead of getting ready for work I just get ready for a normal day, then I remember last night.

Iron Man and those other people were fighting alien and I revealed my ability to heal, I was also last there, which means they must be thoroughly confused now. Whoops! I'd better go explain, but hey, it's my dream, they'll have to accept it.

I'm about to walk towards the tower, but my gut tells me they aren't there, so I decide to just take a walk first. Since it's 07:05, according to my watch, it's not going to be busy, I decide to take a walk around central park. I start walking and notice men in black uniforms standing guard around an area, I look carefully at the people inside the protective area, I spot Tony Stark, I know who he is because in my dream world he became a hero a few years back. There's the man who turns into the huge green man, I also recognise the man in the red cape, he's famous in this world for causing mass destruction. But I don't know who the others are. Then I notice a familiar face...

Steve?

STEVE POV:
We're sending Loki away, I feel eyes on myself so I look around, I notice that in the park a few metres from the security border is a woman looking at me. When our eyes meet we both smile, I haven't seen her in a few months, it's Ellie. I walk away from the Avengers to talk to her, as I walk closer I take in her appearance, she has a huge smile on her face and looks just as I last saw her except her hair now reaches a few inches past her shoulders "Excuse me." I step past one of the Agents and reach Ellie.

She's on another holiday? This is great!

"Hey, Ellie!" "What's gotten you in such a good mood?" "Well, it's been a while since I've seen you and a lot's been going on here. How long have you been back in New York?" Her smile drops "Uh, about that-"
