"You can't do that." Clau was sprawled our on the bed. "She hates me." Noan huffed, "For good reason. You've done nothing but ignore what she wants." Clau looked up, "I just wanted her to like me." Noan groaned, sitting on the edge of the bed. "You don't grab at them first of all. They don't like oh because you can't seem to take a hint. Remember when you came in late last night and slammed the door? A handful of them woke up, they have memories Clau. Some of them aren't the best. You tread carefully and respect them. Don't baby them but don't ignore their requests."
Clau nodded but Noan wasn't quite sure he was actually going to follow his advice. He had him repeat it back to him. He did. "Alright. Now when you see Natalie you apologize-" "I'll just go and find-" "She doesn't want to see you right now," Clau paused, "But where is she?" Noan sighed. He didn't seem to grasp the idea fully. "She doesn't want to see you. You keep chasing her you'll run her off. Leave her be." Clau nodded and Noan left.
Ollie had found her first, then somewhere along the line Cas showed up. She recounted everything that happened. "Sounds like a dickbag." Ollie and Natalie looked at Cas but got only a shrug. "
The original trio slept outside that night. They talked halfway though said night before finally passing out against each other under a lean-to they'd created.
"Who's that?" Ollie whispered, he heard leaves crunching around the corner as a shadow approached. Cas sighed and carefully moved away as not to wake Natalie, he kept close to the wall as the person came closer.
It was on Naomi. "What are you dweebs doing out here?" Cas glanced back at Natalie, "Clau." Naomi nodded, "Okay. Just wanted to check on you." She turned to leave but ended up ruffling Cas's hair, "Take care of each other."
"Clau your an idiot." Clau scoffed, they'd left for a walk early that morning, needless to say it wasn't going all to well. "Not quite." Both Of then nearly collapsed. Noan grabbed Clau and held him up. "He's calling again." Noan glanced up at him, having fallen as soon as Clau got his bearings. "Who?" Clau looked down at him. "The King."
No one had ever met he King. He was the first Keeper. He was un-aging and all powerful. He was beckoning. "Why-?" Clau offered him a hand, "A war's coming. End times Noan."
"King-!" Honic crumpled, Aza stepped out of the way before he could land on her. He rolled over, clutching his head before he grabbed Aza. "I want you to run to the others." She panicked. "I don't know where Noan-" "Not him, Naomi. Or Ryan. Anyone Aza. I may be gone for a-" he doubled over again, "I may be gone- gone for a while. Stay with them. Watch out for yourself, I have to go." Aza grabbed at him but he was already slipping from her grasp. "Honic wait!"
"He's beckoning."
