"Let's go look around, you coming Blue?" Blue nodded, bounding up to Natalie and taking her hand, Naomi sighed and left the room.

They walked around the halls for a while until they finally ran into someone. A pony-tailed brunette in uniform paused upon seeing them. "What are you guys doing out of uniform? Out of class even! And with a child? Who is this?" "I'm Blue." Blue mumbled, she nodded. "He uhh, got lost." The girl rolled her eyes, "Your a terrible liar, let the kid go off on his own, he'll run into a teacher eventually-" "No." She sighed, "Okay, I'm out on a pass. We'll get you two changed and then return him, sound better?"

They changed into their uniforms, plaid skirts, a white blouse and a sweater. "Okay, the boy's school is visiting this week, they're in the gym now. We'll drop him off there."

They were reluctant to leave Blue alone but if it had to be done they would have to do it, on top of all that it'd be only for a day anyway.

"Natalie, your bracelets?" Natalie stared at the girl, she'd reminded them that her name was in fact Juniper, "Are you guys okay? Did Korina hit you with a memory wipe again I told her-" "Ya I think so," She sighed, "Alright, it'll wear off soon. Let's go drop you off little guy, then we'll go to class."

They left Blue at the gym, he was hesitant but several other kids greeted him with a smile so Natalie hoped he'd be alright. Her bracelets were awful, Juniper said that her power was that she would just casually burst into flames and that her bracelets, uniform, etc. were all made of flame retardant material. Naomi's ability was more plant oriented. She could grow plants from her finger tips, and immediately after finding out she made vines grow in the shape of a penis on the wall. Juniper glared at her and tore them down, her ability was vocal manipulation. She could change her voice to sound like anyone's he'd ever heard.

"Glad you could make it to class Natalie," Natalie looked at the teacher, he was tall and looked exhausted, and he especially looked like he didn't want to be there. Not that she did either. "Ya, uh, sorry dude." She sat down, Juniper elbowed her, "Sorry sir," she hissed, "Oh yeah, sorry sir." The teacher sighed and returned to the chalk board.

They took a mini friend trip to the fields behind the school. "Now you all are the distance class. Your abilities work over long distances. So, I want you to reach as far as you can using your abilities." Natalie took off her bracelets and slid them into her pocket as she watched several of her classmates exhibited their powers. She was impressed. She had to figure out how to work her ability and fast. She stood, squared her shoulders and threw a punch. Flames shot from her hand in the shape of it.

She laughed and held her hand up for a high-five from Juniper who jumped out of the way. "Hot!" Natalie looked at her hand, faintly glowing red. "Bracelets first?" Natalie shrugged and made a fist, a small flame ball appeared in her left hand, she threw it to her right and continued this little game on the ground. "Your going to set something on fire." Natalie rolled her eyes, "Yeah? Like?" Juniper pursed her lips and just like that she failed to catch the flame.

It fell at the base of a tree, it immediately began  catching fire. "Mr. Na-!" The teacher was already on it, he looked the tree up and down and a bubble appeared around it. It continued to burn. "Aren't you going to put it out?" Natalie asked quietly, "Put on your bracelets. The fire will run out of oxygen in a few seconds. Be more careful." Natalie nodded, sliding on her bracelets which immediately surrounded her hands, morphing into gloves. Juniper reached for the strap. Natalie withdrew her hand. "Let me strap them, you about started a forest fire." "It's a field, not a forest," Juniper scoffed and grabbed at her hand and snapped the lock shut. Natalie shuddered as the gloves filled with some sort of substance. It was not enjoyable.

She found out that the slime-like substance would liquify and the gloves would unlock once her overall temperature returned to normal. She learned that they reacted differently to different levels of heat or energy or whatever she put out, at a certain level her bracelets would mold around her hands to form gloves and if they went higher than that they'd immediately snap shut, returning to bracelets when she cooled down.

Naomi liked her classes. A boy would could control insects let her grow a little habitat for a snail in one of the drawers. Another girl with the ability to create clouds, it was a long, complicated process but that's what Naomi had  taken to calling it, made a little rain to form a little pond for the snail, which they named Shelbert.

Blue was not having a good time. Their teacher kept yelling which wasn't favorable at all. An older boy yanked him aside and glanced around before staring directly at him. "They're just cranky today because one of the upperclassmen pulled a senior prank on the principal, stick with me okay kiddo?" Blue nodded, the boy looked like a mix of Cas and Ryan.

"Help me take these off Naomi." Juniper swatted her hand away, "Don't help her," Naomi glanced at her, "They're just gloves, what are they for anyway?" Juniper rolled her eyes with a sigh, "She about set a whole field on fire." "On accident." Natalie added, Naomi laughed, "Ya sure! Wait, what in the-" a boy turned the corner, hundreds of animals following him. He crashed into Naomi and fell to the ground, the animals circled around them, waiting.

Juniper jumped into action, "Alright what's happening?" He gestured to his throat, "voi-voice," Juniper stood up, swallowed hard and spoke in the boy's croaky voice. "Go away." The animals stopped, the boy grabbed at her, pulling her down and clapping a hand over her mouth. "Angry." He croaked, the boy climbed to his feet, taking Juniper by the hand and leading her to a closet, his other hand outstretched, warning the herd of coming closer. "Leave." He croaked again, some of the animals left, he frowned and took a piece of paper from his bag, writing something for them.

They won't leave unless I command them to. They know that girl is not me, they will not listen to her.

"Well what do you want us to do?" There was cursing down the hall, "Who let all these animals in the building?" The boy froze, patted Naomi on the shoulder, probably an apology of some sort, and took off running, the animals galloping behind him before he grabbed a horse that had pushed it's way to the front and rode it down the hall. The girls stared in a mix of awe and confusion until the opened to door to the closet to let Juniper out. "Well that was unpleasant. I see why they separate the boys and girls now.
