It was a peaceful afternoon, no clients hand called me for a job and bucky was out working the docks for the day. Leaving me and Steve at home. Sure he was busy drawing away so in his own world. So I am basically left alone to try and entertain my house.
"Hey Stevie, I am going out for a while, I will be back later." I told him
"Okay." Steve mumbled as I left out the door with my coat in hand.
I walked the quiet Brooklyn streets until suddenly a name of a bar stuck out to be like a sore thumb. Winchester. This was the same bar that my father brought me my 1st drink. In fact I sense a flashback coming on.
Flashback
I was 16 years old and waiting for my dad, deadpool to pick me up from his mission. I sat at the bar eating cashews when a crazy idea popped into my head.
"Hey Joe, come here." I told my favourite babysitter/ bartender
"Yeah."
"You like Choas right?" I asked
"Of course any day of the week." he answered
"Good, make me a blowjob." I whispered
"This caused Joe eyes to go as big as pans
"What are you planning little deadpool?"
"Just do it question me later." I told him
He sighs and pulls out a glass putting alcohol, whip cream and a cherry.
"Hey Buster you old asshole come here." I called over to one of my less favourite people here.
"What is it bitch?" he asks
"Here's five dollars now give this drink to that fella over there."
He didn't question it and did it.
"What the hell?" asked the large man that got it as he brings the beat the shit out of buster and a fight broke out.
"Dam kid remind me not to get on your bad side." Joe told me
"Noted."
Suddenly my dad walked into the chaotic bar
"Who cause this shit?" Asked my father to Joe
Joe pointed at me.
"Proud of you son." said Deadpool
"Learnt from the best."
"This is cause for celebration, Joe two rum and cokes." my father said
"You got it deadpool."
Flashback ended:
I sighed at the good memory but soon rise how much time had passed and started to make my way back to the apartment. Before I go up the stairs I check the mail to find a note with Bucky's real name on it and it was stamped by the military. I realise what this is. It was a letter calling Bucky to go to war. He said he didn't put his name down but this letter proved he lied to me. But the weirdest thing was that I couldn't find myself to be mad at him. He was a hero to me and he was always going to be a hero no matter what he has to do... just like little Stevie. I walked up to the apartment to be greeted by Bucky, steve and a strange man on our couch.
"Bucky, Steve who is this?" I asked
The strange man turned around, he looks a lot like Tony Stark.
"Where are my manners, Howard Stark." he said with his hand extended
"Jason Martin." I said shaking his hand
"I know and I know your business the government needs your help Mr Martin."
"I believe these two don't know." said Howard
"That would be correct."
"Do you want to fill them in or shall I?" asked Howard
"Bucky, steve I have something to tell you before I go off with the goverment, about a month after coming here I become the mercanry known as Red, I was going to tell you but I wanted to make sure you were safe." I told them looking at the ground
"You killed people."
"You're leaving." said bucky looking at me sadly
"I have to Bucky and I am sorry steve but being a killer is the only thing I am good at."
"We really must be going Mr Red." Said Mr Stark
I sighed " Let me say goodbye and grab my hood and we can go."
I moved the couch and got my hood from under it and turned to Steve and Bucky.
"I guess this is good bye."
"For now." Steve said and I looked suprised at him
"I may not agree with what you do Jason but you are like a big goofy brother to me."
"Love you too Stevie." I told him before turning to Bucky, my crush fro 1943
"Goodbye buck."
"Good bye doll." He said as I walked out the door with Howard
"What's my mission, sir." I asked him
"You are assigned to safeguarding project Rebirth."
