They spent the months in the den. Hunter arranged for a doctor to come see McKenzie in a mysterious location every month for checkups. The quadruplets were healthy and growing at an alarming pace, but given that their parents were both vampires that was understandable. Mc Kenzie was so excited to be a mother, she loved Hunter Cunter with all her cold dead heart. Yet something kept playing on her mind. Hunter noticed something was bothering his lover. 'What is it, my lover?' He asked one night. Hunter couldn't stand to see his lover in pain. 'Then we will marry before the kids arrive' he said calming with a wide smile. 'But I'm being induced tomorrow morning!' 'We will marry before then.'
At 7am Mc Kenzie was standing between the two largest trees in the forest. Hunter had made a quick IKEA trip and decorated. There were loads of white chairs with pretty bouquets even though there were no guests. A pretty arch had been made at the trees. It was simple but perfect. Hunter had captured three humans overnight so two could witness the marriage and the other was ordained online to conduct the marriage. Mc Kenzie's parents weren't able to make it.
Hunter came walking up the isle in an all white tuxedo his ivory skin glistening in the morning sun. Mc Kenzie held back tears of happiness. The ceremony went well and they kissed, officially husband and wife. But just as hunter started to walk Mc Kenzie down the isle, she went into labor and her waters broke on the red velvet carpet her laid out.
