Chapter Two (9 yrs later)

"Ma, please give me some water", said Nilesh to his mom.

"It feels like heaven to have breakfast made by Ma, after the morning workout that too at your own house", thought Nilesh .

Much had happened in all these years. Nilesh was selected for an international  karate tournament to represent his country along with some other players. He won a gold medal, but due to some disputes in the sports ministry, he got no support in return. But he decided not to quit. He kept playing tournaments and winning medals for his country, state and school. After some time he decided to get into a defense academy in Coimbatore, as it was his childhood dream to join the Indian Armed forces. But his dream was partially shattered when his father didn't allow him in open rallies, as it was for general duty soldiers. His father thought that it was the worst life. Nilesh was any way able to convince his parents for for officer grade. He decided to appear for Combined Defense Service examination (CDS)  after graduation. From somewhere he came to know that the candidates who possess 'C' certificate in NCC will not be requires to appear for the written test, which he feared the most, as he was never good at studies except history and some civics, so he completed his three years of NCC service too. 

Nilesh was a very decent and discipline loving boy. I know that discipline is taught to us by our parents and teachers. But Nilesh was a boy who had added even more discipline to his life along with the teacher's and the parents ones. Most of the other boys and girls, of his age, try to escape the disciplinary rules of parents and teachers only. But just imagine, Nilesh, being a 20 yr old boy, gets detached from most of the worldly pleasures, starting from smart phones to porn movies to girlfriends to non veg food, to which, at this age, most boys and girls are addicted to and are willing to do anything for all these. 

Little did he knew that in a few years his discipline will have to go hand in hand with indiscipline.

"Ma, as usual,  the parathas were incredible", said Nilesh to his mother after having a stomach full of five parathas. 

" Really? Thank you so very much beta", said Nilesh's mother.

"You'r always welcome Ma, you are just a super mummy", said Nilesh.

" Beta, each and every mummy in this world is a super mummy!" Said Nilesh's mother.

"Hmmm, correct!" exclaimed Nilesh with utmost agreement.

It was the month of January, and year 2016. Nilesh was preparing for his second attempt of CDS exam, about which he was  two hundred percent sure that he would never pass. Nilesh's dream was once again shattered when he didn't get a call letter against his NCC special entry application.

 Nilesh's father had bought him a guide book of arihant for CDS preparations. Nilesh did read the book the whole day, but history was the only topic he used to read. Nilesh had got his hall ticket for the examination, along with one of his friend. He choose the kolkata center, for two reasons:- first, Kolkata was closer to his home town, second, he had his elder cousin brother Abhijit's marriage ceremony, or rather Nilesh's life changing ceremony.
