A few minutes later Charles and Tommy were at my side with water and towels. As we waited for the baby I was panicking because I was afraid to have a girl because I wanted to keep her not have her killed like the rest of the young girls in the family I was taken out of my thoughts when I heard a small cry we all became quiet and all looked down everyone except Tommy. We all sighed in relief. It was a boy. Relief flooded my body. Tommy shot his arms out to try and take him but Jimmy blocked him from ever getting to him. Tommy stomped out of the room and slammed the door behind him.
"He's finally here, I can't believe it doesn't even feel real!" jimmy half yelled half squeaked.
I chuckled with tears filling my eyes and sweat on my face.
"Yeah me neither."
The little boy cried out for me I knew he wanted me. He was placed in my arms as I looked over at Jimmy. As tears filled our eyes we knew we would be ok.
I have been on my guard at night and during the day. I feel like Tommy might take hunter from me. He stares at us a lot and I'm not sure if that's good or bad but Jimmy has been making sure he stays away from us.
