River regained consciousness after a few hours, thank goodness. Another good thing is that he never lost his memory. They had to keep him in for a few days for observational purposes.

When River got out of the hospital, he had to stay off school for a few weeks. I was so lonely for those few weeks. Rosalinda didn't give me any shit because I think I scared her. In school I tended to just get through the day and come home. I did visit River with magazines and sweets. I sat with him in his room, we talked and gossiped for ages. He was saying to me about when he started to sing and playing guitar.

He's fifteen now and he started when he was only six.

When River got back to school, he was greeted by Ricky.

'Rio! I've missed you, man!' Ricky said, going in for a bro hug.

Ricky handed River a cigarette and they went outside the school and smoked it. I never liked it when River smoked. The smoke made his hair and clothes smell horrible.

After school, me and River walked home, hand in hand. We said goodbye at my door and kissed. When I got in, I went upstairs to my room and tidied my room. When I finished, I sat and read my books. At the back of my mind was what Rosalinda said. Will she really end our relationship?
