Chapter 4

      I woke up the next day. I looked over to my bedside table and looked at the clock.The clock Kellin had bought me said 10:30 AM. I stretched and yawned a little, getting up. I decided it was time for me to take a shower. I went to my dresser and grabbed a band tee and Skinny Jeans, along with a bra and underwear.

      I walked to the bathroom and started the shower water. I connected my phone to the stereo and put on Sleeping With Sirens. I jumped in the shower and seen that Kellin had brought some strawberry shampoos and conditioner, and some body wash. I washed my hair and rinsed it, pushing it to the right side as I washed it. I washed my body and turned off the water. 

     As I got out I grabbed a towel and dried off. I towel dried my hair a bit and brushed through it. I plugged in my blow dryer and started to blow dry my hair. Once it was dry, I brushed it and straighten it to the right. I threw on my bra and a lose All Time Low shirt with some underwear and gray skinny jeans. I turned off my Bluetooth and walked out of the bathroom. I then headed downstairs to see Kellin.

     I walked into the kitchen and looked into the living room. Kellin and Kalie were making out on the couch. I opened the fridge and grabbed a monster.

"Sorry Scarlet where not use to having a 13-year-old around," Kellin said with Kalie looking a little annoyed.

"No its fine," I said trying to make Kalie happy even though I really just thought it was funny.

"No, it's not, we should have not been making out on the couch anyway," He said looking at Kalie and me. I don't know what he's thinking and I don't want to.

"Are we doing anything else today Kellin?" I asked.

"Anything you guys want to do." He said really happy.

"I would love to go shopping at Hot Topic I need some perfumes and some other little things if that's okay." I smiled and yawned a little. I really wanted to go to Hot topic because I haven't been in so long, the orphanage only goes to the mall once every year and we get as long as we want before the mall closes.

"Okay, there's a good mall in the town next to us, it's pretty large. Also, we can go to Starbucks after if you'd like." He replied.

"That sounds awesome!" I replied.

"Let Katie go get ready. While we are waiting, how about a match of Mario Kart?" Katie went to the room in the back and Kellin set up the Nintendo Switch up to the TV.

About an hour later, Katie came out of the room looking fancy in a short black dress, a floral jacket, leggings, flats, and her hair straightened on her shoulders. Kellin beat me in our forth game of Mario Kart and we ended it in a tie.

"Are you guys ready to go?" He asked. Standing up and stretching. I stood up beside him.

"I'm ready," I said and looked at Katie. She looked pissed for some reason.

"Yeah, I'm ready." She said. I looked at Kellin.

"Well, let's go." He said.

     We headed out of the house and to the car. It took forever but when we finally got to the mall I was surprised to see a 3 story building. Each section looked divided by a certain color. One with green lights and a parking garage, one blue with a parking garage and one red without a parking garage. I'm wondering what would happen if I walked into the mall with Kellin. Would anyone notice him or is he just not that important to many people. We parked in the 2nd story blue, with the parking garage. I jumped out and soon Kellin and Katie did too.

"well let's go. Kalie do you want to stick with us or do you want to go ahead to the third floor like normal?"Kellin asked her.

"I'm going to go up to the third floor. I'll meet you back down here in a bit call me if you need me" She said walking to the elevator. We walked into the building. People were everywhere. Mostly preppy girls and fuckboys but it was fun to look around. I followed Kellin to the end of the mall and as we turned the corner I seen the Hot-Topic. We stepped in and walked around a bit.

"You can get whatever Scar." He said as we walked around. I picked up a few eyeliners, a manic panic hair dye alone with a bleach kit, a few perfumes, a Sleeping With Sirens tee, a Bring Me The Horizon tee, and a few bracelets of random things. I grabbed a couple of bottles of perfume that I liked, including a Nightmare Before Christmas decorated bottle of holiday scented perfume. I sat it on the cash register place and waited. The man behind the counter scanned my stuff. His name tag said "Matthew." He looked to be about 19 or 20, he had deep dimples and white teeth. He was wearing his lanyard and a Slipknot shirt. He has green lip piercings in and the light hit them so they shined a bit. His eyes were a bright blue, no doubt any woman his age would fall for him. He seemed so full of life.

"Is that all" Mathew asked, looking at me and Kellin. I nodded at Kellin.

"Yeah, that all," Kellin said

"Hey, aren't you the lead singer of Sleeping With Sirens?" Matthew asked Kellin.

"Yeah, I am" He replied.

"Oh, that's so cool! I'm more of a hardcore music guy myself. Slipknot and such" Matthew replied. Kellin laughed.

"Yeah, I use to love Slipknot. I just lost interest in the hardcore bands I suppose." Kellin said and started taking the bags full of Hot Topic merch.

"Yeah, Well it was nice seeing you guys!" Matthew said as we were walking out.

"You too man" Kellin replied and we headed to the food court to grab something to eat.

We walked around the food court for a while. Nothing too good.

"Chick-Fil-A?" Kellin asked. I nodded and we headed to the building with Chick-Fil-A on it.

"Are we going to get something for Katie?" I asked him. He shook his head in reply.

"Nah, she doesn't really like Chick-Fil-A," He said as we walked up to the counter. "Hi yes, I'd like a chicken sandwich with tomato and lettuce, I'd also like a large lemonade," He told the lady behind the counter, then looked down at me.

"I'd like a ten piece chicken meal with a lemonade as well," I told her and she nodded.

"Any sauce?" the jet black haired, thicker, lady asked us.

"Ranch," I replied. She nodded. "Thank you" I replied as she handed me the sauce.

"My pleasure" She replied.
     

     After a few minutes, our food was put on the table. As we ate we talked about music. He told me about all the bands he's worked with and his favorites to least favorites. It was fun. Once we finished our food we headed to the bookstore. We got a few books including the Harry Potter series, Most of John Green's books, a few Stephen King books, and a book I use to love called The Perks Of Being a Wallflower, I've read it so many times but I gave my copy to my old best friend before she left. We checked out and began heading to the car where we said we would meet Katie when we were done.
