In the jailhouse

"Sara, which one is your dad" I rubbed her back and she looked them all, it was obvious. The only man that looked like he wanted to murder her.

"That's him." She pointed to number four. The man she wouldn't meet the eyes of. She looked away from his gaze quickly. I looked into her eyes and she was about to cry, I just hugged her and rubbed her back, trying to calm her. The officer nodded.

"Number four" He yelled to the other officer behind the glass and the men started to walk out.

"Can you go to the hospital? They need to make sure you are healthy." He asked. "We can escort you to the nearest hospital and have you out in at least twenty minutes."

"Yes, Sir. But we have to tell Kellin" I told him. He nodded and walked us out to Kellin's van.

"Mr. Quinn. Sara needs to go to the hospital before I leave her in your custody, we will escort you guys and get you in and out quickly." He told Kellin. He nodded.

"Okay, that sounds fine. I'll be right behind you guys." He told us as we got back into the police car.

At the hospital.

We got to the hospital and they practically got us in and out quickly. Sara was doing fine. She has a few bad bruises and a fractured finger from jumping out the window but overall she is okay. There is hard evidence of abuse, the police officers took a lot of pictures of the abuse evidence. He took her statement again and then explained to us that her dad is going to jail for drugs and child abuse, after the court date which we didn't have to attend due to the obvious cuts and bruises and scars from copious amounts of abuse. We sat and listened to the officers and doctors talking to us. Doctors coming in and out, we saw about four officers, and at least five nurses. Finally, they got done. It didn't take too long, it was just tedious. I think Sara was really tired, she fell asleep twice while we were in the hospital. Soon the doctor told us we could leave and we headed to the van, carrying a sleeping Sara in my arms.

"So, we're going home now, right Kellin?" I asked. He nodded as we got into the van.

"I want Sara to sleep with you for now until I can set up the downstairs bedroom. I'll move my studio to the room attached to the library if that's okay with you. It's a pretty small room, I'd hate to make that her room." He told me.

"No, that sounds perfect. I can sleep on the couch for a while or in the same bed, It doesn't really matter either way." I replied, sitting Sara down in the back seats and buckling her up. She spoke uncoherently as she slightly woke up.

We rode in quietness, watching the outside. Once we got home, Kellin carried Sara inside and took her up to my room so she could sleep.

Its ten PM, Me and Kellin are still awake waiting for Vic, who is staying the night tomorrow and the next day, to get here. I'm exhausted but I just love him and Kellin so much and I've never actually met him.

All of a sudden, Vic burst in. Kellin had left the door unlocked for him while he went and played video games and I had headphones in.

"Okay, Okay, I know it just happens to be Sara's birthday tomorrow and the first time Scarlet and she are meeting me so I want tomorrow to be extra special." He said. Kellin jumped around and started getting up. I look out my headphones and quietly fangirled as they side hugged. "where going to get her favorite food and ice cream and for Scarlet, we are all going to see Paramore. Scarlet and Sara will be hanging with Hayley and the band backstage and after the concert, so yall better go to sleep, we have to wake up at four AM and there is no telling what time you guys will actually get to bed tomorrow. We will be staying there for 3 days." Sara walked down the stairs rubbing her eyes. She had woken up to the sound of Vic's loudness I guessed.
