3rd person POV

Lucy woke up in a daze, wondering why she felt so warm. Until she remembered that she was sharing a bed with Natsu. Lucy then remembered last night. His panicked eyes, sweaty body, his frantic panting, and the way he relaxed when she held him. He had another nightmare about her dying. It was his worst fear.

Lucy wouldn't know that, she only thought he was a fearless 20 year old. But what she didn't know was that the nightmares had started during the grand magic games when she battled Minerva and whenever future Lucy died. There were multiple moments in which Lucy could have died. Like whenever they both tried to get Gray back after Fairytail disbanded and she was almost chopped in half in front of Natsu while he couldn't even move.

Of course he's always had feelings for the blonde beauty, but he didn't realize his feelings until he went on the one year training and ran into Gildarts. They both had a chat and Natsu realized why he only felt a certain way towards Lucy, and that was because he loved her as more than a friend. He wanted a future with her, to grow old together and have children.

Lucy stayed in Natsu's warm embrace for another minute until she decided to get up and make breakfast, but not before she took a shower.

After freshening up Lucy got out ingredients for pancakes, eggs, and bacon. As she cooked she knew that she could easily wake up her favorite dragon slayer with the sent of food.

Im the other room layed the pink haired dragon slayer sound asleep. However, his nose started twitching once the aroma of pancakes, eggs and bacon hit his nose. Grunting, Natsu woke up and sleepily made his way towards the kitchen where Lucy was.

While Lucy was putting the finishing touches on the plates of food when two warm arms wrapped around her waist and felt a pressure on her right shoulder.

"Whatcha makin'?" Natsu asked, his hot breath tickling her neck.

"Pancakes with eggs and bacon." She said as she got out of his grasp so she could set the food down.

Natsu being Natsu immediately sat down and started shoveling food into his mouth. Content written all over his face as he saw the woman he loved sitting across from him, smiling at his childish behavior.

After breakfast they both left to the guild that they loved so much.

At the Guild

Once Natsu and Lucy got to the guild they went their separate ways. Lucy sitting at a table with Erza, Wendy, Charle and Happy, while Natsu started a fight with Gray; which led to the entire guild fighting.

Lucy POV

It's morning and Natsu and Gray already managed to start a full on brawl. Ugh.

"Can't they ever calm down for at least a day?" I groaned.
"That's what makes Fairytail so fun though!" Wendy's shy voice piped up.
"Yea you're right," I smiled, "I'm going to go down to the Guilds library, it's too loud here."
I saw everyone at the table nod before I got up and walked down to the library.

The library was quiet, just the way I like it. It was strange not seeing Levy here but then I remembered that she had gone on a job with Shadow Gear and Gajeel and Lilly.

Once I had gotten a book I sat down to read, but once I opened the book I heard a bunch of explosions. I tried to exit the library but a beam fell down blocking the doorway. I tried running to a safe space but no luck. It was getting harder to breathe and see due to the rubble and dust. I tried called for a spirit when I realized I didn't have my keys. Coughing I tried to find them.

I turned around and saw them, under a beam, 'they must have fallen when I tried running and dodging rubble." I thought.

I ran towards my keys but before I was able to get them a cement beam fell on my thigh, one of the iron bars going through my leg. I screamed it pain as I tried pushing it off but it was no use.

"HELP! SOMEBODY HELP ME!" I screamed before another smaller wooden beam with a sharp edge landed on the arm that was reaching for my keys. Another cry of pain escaped my lips as my vision started to go blurry, then everything went black. I wasn't passed out, the rubble covered me entirely, cutting off any light. The only thing that made sure the rubble didn't fully crush me was the two beams of cement and wood stuck in my leg and arm.

I then felt myself grow tired and let sleep welcome me.
