Chapter 7

The rest of the day was calm, Danny was tired, and he couldn't really focus. That's how he didn't notice the bell to leave. He fell asleep right there on his desk. And then he had a dream.

He saw black, then a flash of lights overcame him. He was blinded for a moment, and he blinked a few times to fix it. He looked around, and he saw he was in an interrogation room. He tried to get up, but he was stuck. He didn't feel anything around his wrists, yet his hands were stuck behind his back. In fact, he couldn't feel anything. He tried to move his legs, but they were stuck, too. Someone walked in, and started talking. "Eleanor... Do you know why you're here?" Danny looked to his right and left, but he saw no lady next to him. Then, a voice came from him. The voice was shaking, and you could hear her crying. "N-- No..." He sat down on the other side of the table. "Surely you do, considering you don't have the necklace" She continued crying, and said "I don't kn- know what you're talking about" She looked down. "THEN WHY'D YOU HIDE IT!" Danny could now see the whole room. The man stood up, and stared down at her. She whimpered. "You know what I'm talking about" he said, calmly, and sat back down. "You... You of all people don't need to know." She stared at him, and started to calm down. "Then I might have to move on to your husband." He turned around and glanced at the door. "P- please don't, I'll tell you whatever you need to know!" She started to look frantic. "Now we're getting somewhere" He crossed his arms "Where's the necklace?" "I gave it to him. My child" "And where is he?" "I don't know." "Very well. To the chamber" She stared at him, wide eyed "But you said!" "Yes, I know I said" He stood up and walked towards the door. "You said you'd tell me what I needed. That's not what I needed."

Danny woke up, and ran back to home. He didn't tell Dali, he just jumped into bed. He started thinking, and determined the boy was him. Someone was after him, but who?
