Five mutant Children laid in their rooms. Silver, the seven year old, was up and about, wondering around the room with nothing better to do. Shadow, the other seven year old, sat on his bed, picking at the monitor around his ankle. Ice and Cathrina, the six year olds, lay snuggled up with their Vaporeon and Flareon plushies in their bed. And Tyler, the five year old, sat on the floor, playing with his mlp plushies while rapped in a violet purple snuggie.
Each kid had a lot of stuff, but they didn't have the one thing they wanted most. LOVE. Love that they would never get because they had abnormalities like ears and tails of different cat breeds.
Once a week, the children are allowed their mandatory visitation hours, in which they only met for two hours. They'd catch up on things that have happened, play games, and get to socialize within the group. After the hours are up, the children are separated again -often leaving In screaming fits which leads to a good sedation and two days in the "detention chamber".
The kids were fine with that though, for the detention chamber led to seeing each other more, even if that meant seeing each other hurt. They wished it wouldn't lead to that, but it was just impossible. The people that were supposed to take care of them didn't care. They thought of the children as monsters, just like the rest.
One visitation day, the children sat together and basically planted themselves on the floor. When their time was up, they fought to stick together, pushing away and clawing the adults until they let go. They thought this plan would work, until the adults brought out their pets, the only mutants anyone wanted.
Wolf mixes.
Their 9year old Mutts had the strength of four men in one, so the five that were brought out instantly overpowered the little kittens. they held the children down and kept them still enough for the Adults to stick the needle in their arms, wait for them to pass out, and then threw them in the crates as the adults passed by.
Each kid was stuck in separate rooms, restricted from seeing the others for 3 years through physical contact. they talked to each other through metal fences, restrained to a wall with a short chain attached to their ankle bracelets. This torture just happened to brake the kids, for they didn't fight back or bad-mouth the Adults. They sat in their rooms, dull eyes and blank expressions forever planted on their once happy faces.
