Curing the Broken

landing and unexpected meetings

The plane was just landing in California, after three hours of flighting in the plane. Caroline looked out of the window excitedly, shaking her brother awake. Christopher groans and sleepily rubs his eyes, looking over at his sister.

"We're here already, Chris. Look," Caroline says as the plane slowly lands on the runway.

Christopher chuckles lightly at his sister's excitement. The plane came to a complete stop and the pilot came onto the intercom, letting everyone know that they have arrived and they can take of their seatbelts. Caroline and Christopher quickly took of their seatbelts and getting their luggage from the headboard, rushing off the plane. They are soon faced with a crowd of people. Caroline looks around and smiles when see she's her friend Christina.

"Christina?" Caroline questions and walks toward the black haired girl.

"Caroline," Christina yells and runs over to Caroline.

Caroline let's go of her luggage, dropping it on the floor and jumping into her friend's arms, hugging her tightly.

"I've missed you so much," Christina says letting go of Caroline.

I've missed you too. How are you and Corbyn?" Caroline asks and grabs her things.

"We are good. How about you anyone special in your life?" Christina asks.

Caroline shakes her head no.

"Not right now anyways. So I would like you to meet my brother Christopher," Caroline says and turns to her brother that was now by her side.

"Christina this is my brother Christopher. Christopher this is my friend Christina," Caroline introduced.

Christina and Christopher lock eyes and shake hands.

"It's nice to meet you. My sister talks about you a lot," Christopher says, causing Christina to blush and Caroline to giggle softly.

"Same here," was all Christina could say.

"Alright. So Chris, we are going to be staying with Christina for the week. And don't try anything she's got a boyfriend," Caroline states.

Christopher just nods. The three walk out of the airport, towards Christina's car.

"Your brother's cute," Christina whispers, unlocking her car.

Caroline gasps and softly slaps Christina in the arm, opening Christina's trunk to put her and Christopher's luggage in. After closing the trunk, they get into the car. Christina turns on the car and gets out of the airport parking lot. Caroline sees the aux cord and grabs it, connecting her phone. Caroline goes to her and Christopher's shared playlist and plays her and her brother's favorite song Something Different by Why Don't We. Caroline looks back at her brother, seeing a smile on his face and both start to jam out to the song. Christina noticing this, takes out her phone to record the siblings singing her boyfriend's and boyfriend's band mates song. Christina giggles as she sends it to her boyfriend, letting him know that her friend and friend's brother are big fans and wants to meet them. As the song comes to an end, Christina decides to tell them.

"You know that Corbyn is apart of Why Don't We, right?" Christina asks.

Caroline and Christopher look at her in shock, not knowing what to say.
