Curing the Broken

Caroline woke up early. She looked over at Christina's bed to see that Christina wasn't there. She sighs and gets out of her bed. She walks over to her suitcase and grabbed the clothes she's going to wear for her date with Daniel. She walks into the bathroom, quickly turning on the shower as she brushed her teeth and used the bath. Once she was done she hopped into the shower and showered quickly. Caroline finished showering, putting on her outfit for her date and walked into her shared room with Christina.

"Wow. You look wow," Caroline heard.

She looked up to see her brother, Corbyn, and Christina scattered around the room. Caroline shyly smiled, walking over to Christina's vanity. She opened up her makeup bag and put all the makeup she needed on.

Finishing with her makeup, Caroline shuffled around the room, trying to find her favorite pair of vans. She groans in frustration, causing the other three to look at her. She sighs and keeps looking for her shoes.

"Arrow, I have your shoes right here," her brother says.

Caroline walks over to her brother, whispering a quick thanks and slipping them on. She walks over to Christina's full length mirror, looking at herself, she was satisfied with the outfit. She looks over at the three that are scattered around the room.

"Guys, how do I look? Do you think Daniel will like it?" Caroline asks, nervous as ever.

The three chuckle at her nervousness, giving her a thumbs up. Caroline looks at herself one more time, right before she heard the doorbell ring.

"Corbyn and I got it. Christina calm her down a little," Christopher says, knowing how nervous his sister is.

Meanwhile, Daniel waited at the front door of Christina's house, nervous as ever. He didn't know why but when he first saw Caroline last night, he knew that she was something different. He didn't know what it was about the girl, but he wanted to find out. The front door opened, causing Daniel to snap out of his thoughts. He looked up to see his new best friend and his band mate.

"Hey guys," Daniel says. 

"Hey Dani. Come on in. Caroline should be down here any minute," Christopher says. 

The boys let Daniel in and closed the door behind him. They all walked into the living room and sat on the couch, quietly. Not a single one of them said a word. 

"Hey," they heard a voice say softly. 

The boys look over at Caroline and smile. They stood up, walking over to her. 

"Wow. Just wow," Daniel states, in awe on how beautiful Caroline looked. 

"Wow to you too, Seavey," Caroline says. 

"Well we should get going," Daniel says.

Caroline agrees, both walk to the door. They say bye and walk to Daniel's car.

Daniel had pulled up to the pier. He parked his car, pulling his keys out of the ignition. Both Caroline and Daniel got out of the car, walking towards the crowd of people. Caroline took Daniel's hand into hers, pulling him towards her favorite part of the pier. She had stopped in front of the boy, she always see singing at the pier. Daniel and Caroline came at the perfect time, the boy just finished singing and looked over at Caroline and smiles. The boy quickly packed up his guitar and walks over to the pair. 

"Hey C, " the boy says

"Hey E. You did great," Caroline tells him and hugs him. 

They pull away from the hug, looking over at Daniel. Caroline walks over to Daniel, smiling up at him. 

"Dani, I would like you to meet Edwin. Edwin this is Daniel," Caroline introduces. 

Both shook each other's hands, Daniel looking at Edwin with an angry glare. Caroline notices and kisses Daniel's cheek lightly. 

"Relax Dani, he's gay," Caroline whispers. 

Daniel sighs and nods. 

"It's nice seeing you again E. Daniel and I are going go play some games," Caroline says and quickly hugging her friend, pulling Daniel.

As the pair finished playing all the games, they walk around hand in hand. They stop at a concession stand. 

"What would you like, beautiful?" Daniel asks. 

Caroline looks at what there is to eat and points at the cotton candy. Daniel chuckles at her childish behaviors and asks for a cotton candy. He quickly pays, saying a quick thanks and hands the cotton candy over to Caroline. They walked over to the part of the pier that had a park area, finding a place on the grass to sit. 

Once they found a spot, they sat in front of each other and both chuckled. Both became quiet and looked at each other. Daniel flickered his eyes from Caroline's eyes to her lips, slowly leaning  in, causing Caroline to close the gap. Both melted into the kiss, quickly pulling away. Daniel leans his forehead on Caroline's. 

 "It's insane, how I've only known you since last night and I have this feeling of butterflies when I'm around you or when I hear your name," Daniel says, causing Caroline to smile and blush. 

"You don't understand how nervous I was today. I've supported you since American Idol. You've been my celebrity crush since that and I never thought in a million years that this would be happening," Caroline states, now Daniel blushing. 

Caroline pulls away and checks her phone to see texts from her brother. She frowns as she reads them. Daniel notices grabbing her hand. 

"What's wrong?" He questions. 

"Um.. Chris just texted saying that Christina is sad because of something with Corbyn and she wants the both of us to go comfort her," Caroline says worried, "but I wanna finish the date though."

"Caroline it's fine. Us comforting Christina can be the ending of our date,"  Daniel says, pecking her lips. 

He stood up and helped Caroline up, both rushing to the car, worrying about Christina.

AN: sorry I didn't update yesterday :( I couldn't figure out how to write this chapter
