Maddies pov

Today was adoption day and me and my best friend ruby were sat in our room watching carries vlogs. It was about 10:30 when I got called down to the meeting room.
I walk down to the meeting room and say to hayley "whatever happened to my parents I don't care" That's when I see carrie and who I assumed was ollie her boyfriend. I tentatively sit down as carrie asked me a bit about myself

I said " my name is maddie I am 15 16 in 4 weeks. I had a twin brother called oliver who unfortunately wants nothing to do with me because he blames me for the fact that mum and dad abused him. I have depression anxiety which has caused me to never be able to attend school when I grow up in hope to be a musical theatre actress like you carrie."

Carrie could see that I didn't like talking about my brother as I looked like I wanted to cry

About 2 hours later Carrie and ollie left. I went back into my room and cried.

I decided to message Oliver

"Hey Oliver I know you want nothing to do with me but I totally understand why you blame me for what happened to us I was always such a bitch to mum and dad. I totally agree if you never want to see or talk to me again but always remember I love you from your big sister by 3 minutes Maddie   xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. "
I sent it but I wasn't expecting a reply

He said to me "hey Maddie  I do want to know you it just the fact that we got split up and taken to different care homes. I would love to meet you someday I just thought I would tell you that I got adopted by a woman called jodie steele and her boyfriend liam Doyle lots of love your little brother by 3 minutes oliver xxxxxxxxx."

I reply back
"Omg Oliver your adopted mom is working with my adopted mom she plays Veronica in heathers the musical and your mom Plays heathers chandler."

I fell so happy that oliver wants to know me and that when I go home with carrie I might be able to see him at the haymarket.

I message carrie and tell her what oliver told me although I know she would won't see it until the interval or the end of the show.

"Hey carrie it's maddie I just wanted to let you know that I message oliver (my brother) and it turns out that he does want to know me but because we got split up and taken to different care homes he has never been able to contact me. He also told me that he got adopted by jodie and her boyfriend and that he will be at heathers on Friday night so I just wanted to let you know that I will be at the show in Friday lots of love maddie xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx."

It was now Friday night and I was walking to the haymarket when I saw carrie and all my stuff in tom's car she runs up to me and said
"Hey baby hope your ready to come home with me" she took me through to the backstage area and that when I saw oliver. I started to cry I hadn't seen oliver in 11 years.

Oliver ran up to me and said
"Omg maddie you haven't changed one bit you still really pretty and stunning I have missed you so much I hope you have been well. I have been following you on instagram and omg your so lucky to have met oliver ormson"

I laugh at him because now ollie is technically my dad.

I couldn't take it any more i gave oliver a big hug and started to cry apologising for what had happened to him and saying that I didn't deserve him as as brother.
