the wind blew the ends of your hair as you wandered through the reeds.
there was only the field, the sound of birds and the view of the distant trees.
you stopped as it lead you to no where.
maybe there's really no lake around.
you looked back and the mansion was still visible.
maybe i should go back before i get lost...
you stopped walking as you saw something pecking your feet.
"well, hello there..." you picked up the small bird and gently caressed its beautiful blue feathers.
you decided to wander more, wanting to find its tree.
it couldn't fly.
but it shouldn't have wandered far from its nest.
you went to the nearest, which is the only tree in the middle of the field.
as you got there, the tree was surrounded by short grass.
you reached for a branch and placed the bird on top.
"careful there, now."
you were suddenly startled by the voice and let go of the branch causing you to fall harshly on the ground.
you hissed as you wipe off the fallen leaves on your hanbok.
you looked beside you and saw the man you bumped into earlier.
"it's you."
"don't worry about me, i was just taking a nap."
you nearly laughed. "a nap, here? there could be mosquitos around or some weird insects. maybe boars, even."he chuckled. "we're wearing sleeves here, we can't." he paused. "your knee is bleeding."
you looked down and saw your left knee bleeding. "it's nothing."
he shook his head and took a hanging cloth from his belt and tied it around your knee to stop the bleeding.
"i didn't.. catch your name earlier..." you whispered.
"mino. he smiles. that's it. it's mino."
you smiled at him.
"you should try napping here. the air's fresh."
you looked at him hesitating but laid down, with a distance from him.
"it is cool..."
you felt your eyes get heavy and fell into sleep.
you sneezed and woke up, you sat up and saw mino still napping beside you.
i slept...
oh no. i was supposed to be home before dinner.
you fixed your dress and hid the layer with blood stain.
"are you going?" you suddenly heard him ask."yes, i'm sorry. thank you for guarding me as i nap. i want to repay you. shall i see you heare again tomorrow?" you asked in a worried tone.
he smiled warmly and nodded. "yes." whispering "we shall."
you stood up and got rid of the small strands of reed on your hanbok and walked away, you turned around before you go and waved goodbye. "i'll see you here again tomorrow afternoon."
he nodded and waved back, smiling as he watched your figure disappear in the tall fields of reed."beautiful." he whispered.
