Mariel who is currently sitting on the edge of the bed was wondering how is she still alive? Who saved her?

Her body is filled with bandages. She touched her scar on her face. It was a big scar that covers half of her face. She thought that her husband, Samuel loves her for who she is and doesn't care of what her appearance is.

"You're awake." The man with the presences of a king appears. Asking Mariel without any emotion on his face. "Are you alright?"

Mariel thought that Samuel is the most handsomest guy that she have ever seen but today, the man in front of her IS the most handsomest guy she have ever seen.

"Thank you for saving me." Clearly, Mariel's throat is dry. "How can I repay you?"

The man sat besides her and gave her a glass of water. "Marry me."

Mariel coughs as she drank the water. Mariel looks at the man in the eyes while whipping her mouth. "Sir, I am very ugly and still married."

The man gave her a document. She opens it and saw all of the informations about her. It was said in the document that she is already divorced.

But how? Mariel tries to remember her past. She remember a scene where her husband made her drank and made her sign some documents. Everything that she owns was stolen by Samuel.

Mariel grits her teeth and tries to calm herself. She composed herself and sigh. "Sir, I might bring bad luck in your household. I will repay you but not by marrying you. I will repay you once I get a new job."

The man's face dimmed. "Marry me. That's my one and only condition."

Mariel panicked. She is afraid of the guy. "Sir, please don't be like this."

"You can never get a job. Unless you marry me." The man walks out of the room.

Mariel was still frozen after what the guy said. She is somewhat confused on why the man wanted to marry her. She's ugly and she just lost everything. How can she marry him?
