The ride was long, three and a half hours long to be exact.

Brittle roads and the roar of a exhausted engine had been the only thread of noise that was continuously entering lilith's ears. Her pale, denty hands were wrapped onto a book she'd been reading. Her eyes had been glued to the pages on and off during the 3 hours of the ride, that being her only source of entertainment. She sighed, her long hair neatly being pushed behind her ear as she rose her eyes to the driver. Her lips a slight rouge, parting as her voice slipped through in a sigh
"Are we nearly there yet? The length of this ride, it would've been enough to drive a man insane at this point.. honestly how long till we get there?" Lilith spoke, her voice rather raspy as her water supply had plummeted greatly since the start of the journey. "Only twenty more minutes and we will be at Pilot, Ma'am."
Groaned the male, a name clip reading 'Barney' distinguishing his name. His voice gruff, his appearance sunken as he coughed after speaking. A definite smoker. She thought, eyes analysing the man as she took interest in his persona. His body language slouched, eyes barely staying on the road as his side glances sootheed over the cigarette packet dangling out of his pocket every few minutes. The desires of the man were as clear as day. His hand had been itching all over the packet throughout the ride, his grip switching back and forth from the wheel to the cigarettes.

"Well... That's OK then" The blonde mumbled, her nails softly dragging against the book she'd been giving during her younger days..
It was a hardback book, its shade grey with gold engraved writing neatly compacted onto its textured cover.

"I've been studying flowers which live around here, it's pretty interesting" She announced briefly, fingers curling around the cream coloured paper as she lifted its page to the next one. Her eyes dancing to the imagery of lavendar, a subtle colour which consumed the spread across the page. "This book is filled with all sorts of flowers, it focuses on lavendar mostly though. It's a  favourite in pilot from what i remember, its filled with lavendar.." She smiled, staring at a rough sketch of a field filled with the lilac beauties. "You know...My mother wrote it actually, this book.. Its what made me want to become a writer myself.." She faintly chuckled, humoured at the small detail's she knew about the book; and less so about her mother.

"Yes. Fascinating" Barney spoke bluntly, his voice dry of tone as his face wore boredom. He wasn't listening, that much was obvious to lilith as she heard the faint patting of his impatient finger tapping the wheel.

"Lavender, it's not rare or anything, but the town of pilot adore it. I remember.." Lilith uttered, her conversation nonexistent between her and the driver as she slowly fell silent. Her words becoming old memories as she stared towards the rough sketch in the book still, her eyes slowly closing as she inhaled the subtly scent of the books page...

Lavender filled the air, it's scent intense as the small girl lied in the field  infested with the flower, it's existence almost overwhelming as Lilith layed low. Her body engulfed in the lavenders arms.

"Li! Li!" A voice sung out, distant yet crystal clear as Lilith rose from  nature's bed, her clothing covered in dirt and her knees stained red.
"Coming ma!" The small child called out, instantly recognizing her mother's voice. Her young spirit energetic as she pushed off from the ground, a couple of the small corolla petals sticking to her long locks. Lilith, although rushing forward, felt distant in the moment. Free as her mind seemed to calm with the perfume that filled the air.

A drug of sorts, as she paused to embrace the relaxing sensation that intoxicated her nostrils.
Her eyes fluttering slightly as the heaviness around her left her eyes closed, like a sleepwalker she stood unaware of anything else, her conscious becoming unconscious. The subtle noises became distant. Like the wavering branches that were caught in the wind, the singing of the  birds that slowly turning into a frozen silence.
The small girl pausing, frozen in a blissful second as she became still with nature. The imagery like that of a picture,
