Chapter 1: Watch It!

**Espen's POV **

"Espen. Espen.". I hear someone whisper. Then someone shouts in my ear, "ESPEN!" I jump up and almost fall out of my bed. I look to see my little sisters laughing at me. "Aww why didn't you fall?"

"Yeah! It would have been hilarious." Mandy adds as she climbs up next to me and Sara soon follows.

Of course, this is typical of the twins. "Oh you two are so going to get it." I say as I pull them close to me and tickle then at the same time. They scream and laugh.

"Stop... please" they ask in unison

"Not until you both say you're sorry."

"We're sorry!" They squeal.

"Girls" My dad calls. "There you are. Come on, you three have to get ready for school."

"Aww..." we all groan. Sara and Mandy get up and rush out of the room.

School. Right... The one place in world I'd rather not go to.

“Dad do I have to go?” I whine as I bring my covers over my head and bury myself in my bed.

"Yes, you have to go. I’ll even drive you to school." He rolls the cover off of me, I sit up and heave a sigh.

“Fine,” I mumble, my dad kisses my forehead then walks out of my room.

-------------------------------

“Are you sure that you don’t want me to pick you up?”

“No thanks I’ll walk home. Thanks dad.” I wave at him before I head for the school. I remember that my phone is in my bag, and I go to search for it. Meanwhile I am not paying attention to where I am going. I suddenly bump, more so like ram into some guy. Our collision causes me to drop all of my books out of my bag.

I have to say he is absolutely georgeous, the guy I bumped into that is. He has a tall and strong build, his hair dark brown, and has matching chocolate brown eyes. But he also seemed to have a dark side to him. “I-I” stutter.

"Watch where you’re going, bitch." He exclaims, and there goes him being cute. He’s nothing but an everyday douche bag.

**Anthony's POV **

I honk the horn of my new Chevy Silverado. I have been sitting out side my best friends house. Usually I wouldn't give a care about going to school but yesterday the principal pulled me into his office to tell me if I was late again then I would be suspended. And I can't afford that. I honk the horn another three times before she comes out. She slowly walks to the car.

I roll down my window and shout,"Hurry up Val!"

"Shut up for godsakes!" She yells as she opens the door and sits down.

"Why do you always take forever to just come out of your house?"

"Why do you have to get on my nerves all the time?" She asks.

"Whatever." I put the keys in the ignition and start the car. We pull out of her street and start for school.

"We have a deal tonight." Val says quietly as she looks out of her window.

I take a deep breath, "Where and who?" I replied as I stopped at a red stoplight.

"Randy Sydel. Midnight."

"What do they want?"

"Guns, ammo, and drugs... normal stuff."

"How much are they offering?

"Twenty five K's." I nod my head, but don’t respond to her. I needed to think this deal through. I pressed on the gas pedal and continued on our way to school.

Oh I forgot to mention Val and I are best friends and business partners. And leaders the top gang In all of California, the LA Bloodhounds. We handle business transactions such as exporting, smuggling, and a bit if drug dealing. Nothing too illegal.

We do all of our deals at night or when we are not in school. Which for me is all the time. Val and I started our... business when we were sophomores, just drugs at first but as time went on and our funds grew, and well we were able to spread and expand.

I hadn't said a word to Val since she announced the offer amount. We arrived to school and I parked. "Tell Sydel Thirty K or we walk."

"Fine." Val opens her door and slams it shut then walks into school. I wait until the first bell is about to ring when I get out of the car. I start walking when some girl bumps into me.

"Watch where you’re going, bitch." I tell her. She apparently dropped her books.

"Whatever asshole." I know she didn’t just say that. Not to me. See here's the thing everybody knew who I was and what I did. And they also knew no one talks to me like that. I was going to say something to her when the first bell rang. I turned around and left her there. She's whatever.  I thought to myself as I walked away. I had too many things on my mind to be worried about some chick, hopefully I won’t have to see her again.
