HICCUP

I land Toothless in from of the ice palace. Elsa clung to me. I close Toothless's tail then slide off of him. Elsa goes to get off of him. I take her hand. "Let me help!" She takes the offer using my arm to get off.

"Thank you!" she smiles. I just smile. Toothless snorts behind us. I turn to him.

"What are you looking at?" I ask him. He snorts again. "Go to bed you!" I order him. He gives me a look then blasts the snowy ground to a red-hot temperature and curls up on it like a giant dog. "Good boy!"

Elsa and I walk into the caste silently. She closes the giant doors then follows me to the top floor.  I walk up to the balcony with her behind me. "So..." she starts.

I look at her. "What?"

"You know my story, now what's yours?" she asked.

"M-my story?"

"You're life. What's your past story..." she asked.

"You really want to know?" I asked.

She nods coming closer. I sigh.

"Okay..." We stay silent for a while. I try and think of the best way to explain. "I was the outcast in my village. The runt. The nuisance. The one everybody hated." I start. "Dragons used to be a problem with Vikings. We used to kill them. All I wanted to do was kill a dragon. But my father, the Chief of my tribe didn't believe in me..." "I shot down a Night Fury... No one beloved me. Not even my own dad..." Elsa looked at me closely. "But then I found the dragon in the woods. I was going to kill it, but I set it free,"

"What dragon was it?" Elsa asked.

I look down at Toothless asleep on the snowy ground. "Toothless. I shot down my own. After that, I realized that I didn't want to kill dragons but my dad put me in battle training... To kill dragons. I had to hide Toothless from everybody. I thought he'd be okay until I learned a downed dragon is a dead dragon. So I tried my hardest to build him a new tail. Flying on a dragon was something I've never done before. I discovered how amazing they really are. I learned that dragons are not what we think. Everything we knew about them was wrong."

"I learned new tricks from Toothless and used those tricks in the training ring. But all those tricks led up to me getting the honour of killing a dragon in front of the whole village... So I decided to leave with Toothless... Until Astrid, one of my peers from the battle training found out about Toothless."

"What'd she do?" Elsa asked.

"She was going to tell the village that I befriended a dragon... So I sorta kidnapped her on Toothless and showed her the truth about dragons. Toothless brought us to his island. We discovered something there too."

Elsa butt in again. "What?"

"If the dragons don't bring in enough food they get eaten themselves by their Queen. Astrid wanted to tell my dad about the island, but I begged eh not to in fear that they'd find and kill Toothless. My final exam was the next day. I tried to show my village that dragons were harmless until my dad scared that dragon and it tried to kill me. The worst part was when Toothless found his way out of the cove and came to the training ring to protect me. My secret was revealed there."

"My father and I got into a fight about the dragon, and I accidents told him about the dragon island and that only a dragon ad find it. He was going use Toothless to get there, I tried to tell him it was a bad idea. The worst of all came. My dad disowned me as his son."

"He did?"

"Yeah...."

"My dad took Toothless with him to find the island. So the only idea u had was to train the dragons in the rig and take then as long as my other friends to dragon island. The Red Death I believe it was called started to attack once we got their. It may of started before. I had to find Toothless. My friends tried to distract the Red Death while Astrid and I tried to find Toothless. I finally found him on a burning ship."

"Astrid wet off to help the other as I went to help Toothless. The ship he was on sunk though. To my surprise, my dad helped me break him free. He apologized for disowning me as a son. He was sorry for everything."

"At least he apologized," Elsa told me. I only shrugged in response

"Go on..." Elsa urged me.

"Unfortenually, my friends lost control against the Red Death so it was only me and Toothless. We defeated it. But I almost didn't survive it. I only came out with a missing leg. My dad realized after that dragons were something different and allowed them in Berk. He says thank to me and Toothless, dragons and Vikings had made peace." I look to Elsa. "So, I guess in a way every bad story ends good," I tell her finally finishing.

Elsa slowly took my hand."And I thought I had a rough past. Yours sounds horrible."

"It was. Buts it's okay now. Now that I'm not in Berk." I say.

"What do you mean?" Elsa asked.

"I left Berk because I accidentally burned half of the village down. I lost control of the dragons and he burned the village down nearly killing everyone." I say to her.

"... I left before anyone could suspect it was me...." I add.

"Won't they notice you're gone?" Elsa asked.

"They think I'm dead... My dad believed I died in that fire,"

"How do you know that?"

"I hid on a peak with Toothless before I left and I overheard him telling the village I was dead," I say. "The fire apparently killed me,"

"So you're hiding?" She asked.

"Pretty much, yeah," I answered.

She looks at me calmly. "Don't worry. They won't find you here. If they believe you're dead, they won't bother looking." Elsa told me.

I smile faintly. She's really something. "You're really something special my Queen," I tell her. She blushes weakly.

"What do you mean?"

"Everyone calls you a monster. People on Berk would consider you an ice dragon..." I tell her.

"But once someone works through the coldness, there's a really nice, warm, beautiful girl in there. And that's you!"

Elsa smiled again. "And that person who worked through my coldness is you!" I stare at her for a couple of seconds. I don't know how long we've been standing there. "Hiccup..." she starts silently. "... I love you."

"I love you to the moon and back..." I whisper. "... A million times..."
