Hour on (7PM)

Korey

"Get in, bitches." Calum says, patting on the truck cap harshly and getting a cracking noise in return.

"Careful with my baby!" Ashton cries as he jumps into the drivers seat and Luke getting into the other side.

I roll my eyes as I crawl into the pickup of the truck, taking Michael's hand to help me in. I smile at him and put my back against the rear window. I let out a breath and hold my gun in my hand tighter, Calum doing the same across from me.

Sid bites her lip as she lies her head against Calum's shoulder. He puts his arm around her shoulder and holds her, noticing the tears briming her eyes.

"Don't worry." Calum says sweetly. "It'll be okay."

"Don't show weakness, Sid." I learn over and rub her leg for a minute. "Stop being a little bitch."

"Can't you see she's scared?!" Calum shouts as he holds her against his chest now, as though to protect her from me.

"We don't have time for this." I cross my arms over my chest. "Be strong or be killed."

"Korey..." Michael drags out my name. "Let her be. She can help Luke be guards."

"I've got it." Sid pulls herself away from Calum and wipes her eyes.

We all sit quietly and I can feel Calum's glare at me. He's obviously upset seeing he's always had a soft spot for Sid in his heart; they're almost like siblings.

I cross my legs infront of me and look out the windows at the passing houses. Everyone in our list all live uptown, in fancy big houses. I can tell we're almost there by the white fences and the cars.

We stick out drastically in Ashton beat up red Ford with rust near the tires and cap. Everyone else has their spotless fancy ass cars with perfect tires.

Perfect for slashing.

"Do you know where she lives?" Ashton says turning around for a second and looks at us. He quickly turns back and I notice he's driving around, obviously without purpose.

"She lives up on Liftbook." Calum says as he opens the back truck window. "A big, blue house with nice windows." He says a bit hatefully.

They didn't ask for a shit house but of course that's what they got putting all their minimum wage paychecks together. It's not that bad, really, on the inside. Once they put their own twist on it.

They have nice wood furniture and dark couches and everything seems to tie into each other nicely. There's wall art and family photos. The shelves have things like plants and books and notebooks. It's cozy.

It's just the outside that's destroyed. I think they hope someone burns their house so insurance kicks in.

We're not mad at the rich. Don't get me wrong. I'm not doing this for justice or social class equality. I'm doing this for revenge.

I mean, there's only so much name calling and locker shoves and swirlies and hate that one person can take.

"I think this is the place." Luke says to us as he taps on the back window. "I'm scared."

"It's too late for fear now." I furrow my brows as i straighten out my backpack. "It's now or never."

I fix my posture while I walk up towards the door, trying to show some authority. I stand still for a moment, letting my breath try to come back to normal.

"How do you insist we get in?" I shout to Ashton. I guess he seems to be the genius of house invasion so he must have a way to get in.

"Knock and ask to go in?" Michael replies. Smart-ass.

"Hello?!" I shout into the crack of the door. "We're here to purge your sorry asses.

I hear them snicker behind me. Their laughter makes the tension in my chest lift. This is all good fun.

I jiggle the handle of the door knob and nothing happens till I stare at the big windows against the door. I stand to the side, comparing my thickness before lifting my boot and breaking a hole in in.

Their laughter subsides as I continue breaking the rest of it with my foot or using my fist. I stare at my bloody knuckles one last time before inching my way in.

I stand in the entrance way a second, just looking around me. It's very dark except a monitor above the door beeping. I guess it's their alarm system but all cops are off duty during these 12 hours.

I reach into my bag and pull out a small flashlight but jump and drop it when I hear someone coming in behind me.

"Just me, Kor." Sid says as she comes in, still holding hands with Luke. "How is it?"

"Quiet." I answer as I bend down picking up my flashlight. "Here rooms upstairs. Her profile pic is of her on a balcony and that's up to the left." I nod.

"You sure?" Mike pulls Ashton through the door.

"Who says she's - ow fuck - alone?" Ashton rubs his chest, a little cut across it from the glass.

"Boys look downstairs for a guest. Sid and I will look for her." I chuckle. "She's our kill."

"Yours. Your kill." Sid corrects as she pushes me aside, heading up the stairs.

The sound of E.T. walking was made by someone squishing her hands in jelly.
