This is it. I can't wait to watch them burn (not literally). Sorry, I'm really competitive. We line up on the court and we have serve-receive. This is the right time to get our first kill, we're gonna get it. We love to have fun while being very competitive, but this time it was just all about the game. We didn't care if we looked stupid, didn't care if we were making impressions on the boys that we liked, or anyone else for that matter. Except for the ones that wanted to play college volleyball, then they cared just a little bit, but still had their heads in the game!

"KILL by Eva! And the score is now 10 to 23, SC (South Central) in the lead, very close to closing the 1st set! This is a very exciting game, against 2 rival teams! What do you think about this game Albert?" I didn't even notice until the second timeout -called by Johnson- that the channel 4 news was here. That was cool, I didn't really care, I just wanted to play volleyball. "PLAY FOR THE 1 ON 3! 1, 2, 3, PLAY FOR THE ONE!" *clap* It was 12 to 24 and we were in the lead and ready for match point for our 1st set! "Eva with the serve, and it's over. Oh, OH! *laughter* That was very close, almost had an ace serve there. Johnson with a KILL, but it's dug by Carly! Look at her go! And it goes over the net, and lands on the line! The 1st set point goes to SC! And we'll be going into the next set here in a couple minutes!" "Man, that is ridiculous. I've come to believe that Carly is just in love with that floor, she has already had 5 digs tonight in this 1st set." "Yes, it is amazing, she is just concentrating on keeping that ball alive and is not afraid to slam onto the floor. I remember last week's game, she dug a ball very close to the line but she ended up hurting her knee, but was able to give her teammates that ball and they even one that point! *laughter* The only problem was she then hurt her knee and was not able to play the rest of the night. But she seems to be doing much better and is playing her hardest out here tonight!" "So much competition between these 2 teams ever since the first year they've played each other, both teams have very good coaches that have both won high school championships, as players and as coaches. So many people have come to watch this game. And it's just so entertaining to watch these teams work their tails off to fight this once-every-year-battle to see who's going to win!" "Indeed. So entertaining, and it's just so great to watch these players come out and just have fun playing and having some competition. And I spoke to some of the players before this game -specifically Carly and Eva- and they both said that it's not what each individual player does that makes the team better, it's all of them put together and working as a team that makes them so great. And that they go to school for 8 hours and come to practice for 2 and just have so much fun practicing and playing. Most of them even said that this is their stress relief and that whenever they've had a hard day studying and all that, they just can't wait to come out and practice volleyball and not have to think about their homework or what they have to do when they get home. It's just what they have to do during practice, how they're gonna make themselves better, how to improve the team, and just having fun together, enjoying themselves." "And time is up, time for the 2nd set with SC leading 1-0."T
