Time for set 2! I'm so happy we got the 1st set! Okay, focus. "And Carly, you need to watch #13, she's an over-the-block-hitter. And make sure you jump really high and just try your best to block that. Otherwise, girls, get low and be ready to dive." We all nodded. "Alright girls, lets go! Let's get this bread!" We laughed putting our hands out. "Play for the One on 3! 1, 2, 3 Play for the One!*clap*" (sorry i didn't know how else to put that :)) We all walked out onto the court excited to play another set. We were in the lead 1-0. We gave out high tens on our side of the court as Johnson came out on their side.
"Ight, I'm gonna set you this time and let's get you a spike, ok?" I whispered into Evie's ear. She was a year older than me (school wise), but we were the same age. We used to talk about it too, if I was behind in school or if she was ahead, we really didn't know. But anyway, back to the game. It's our serve and Eva serves the ball the pass, set, hit. And Autumn in the back digs it, I run to the ball and set it over to Evie. "Evie!" I yelled, she went back, approached, and spiked. But, it hit the floor on our side. 'Wait, what?' I thought. Evie looked over at me disappointed. Johnson exchanged high fives and stuff and we just came together and talked, quickly. "It's alright, it's only one point. We can get it back, come on girls we can do this. Let's go!" I said. We gave some quick high fives and coach talked to Evie. She ran back out onto the court. "Hey, Evie, I'll set it to you again so we can get spikes!" "Alright." Johnson served, Eva dug, I set, and Evie spiked. And it went over the net and they dug, set, spiked. We dug, set, spiked. (You know what? This goes on for a while so we just gon' skip it. Cuz I'm not creative ;))
*Time skip 1 set* (Sorry, I'm lazy and not good about being descriptive and creative about a volleyball game, idk man)
"Alright, it's the 3rd set, one left to go! I am really liking this game! It's very exciting! The 2nd set was won by SC, but it was very close at 22-25. One more set to go for SC, and they win the game. But, maybe they won't win this set? What do you think, Albert?" "Yeah, this is a great game indeed! SC is a very good team but, so is Johnson. Johnson seems to be catching up to them, seeing that last set! The girls aew out on the court and ready to play another set! I;m just loving the energy in this gym and how much they want to take eachother down!" They laughed. "Yeah, they are ready to take each other down, haha!" Albert laughed.'3rd set, alright. LET'S GO!'
(to be continued)
