Mars, Mars, Mars...

I walk back into the lab, take off my suit, and walk over to Jay. She is a tall girl with black hair and a cute laugh. Her eyes are emerald-blue and they match her nails.

"Hey Will" she says as she grabs a calculator probably to calculate the effects of plants on the moon.

"Hey Jay, I had a thought if you wouldn't mind" I say as if I were to displease her

"Sure" she says casually

"Yeah I was wondering if you could put the research into the moon colonization and put it into Mars."

"Haven't we gone over this Will, it's not possible!"

"Ok, how about one more time and I'll leave you alone"

"Deal." Jay says as she feels like she made a fair deal.

Dinner Time! Dinner Time! The dinner bell goes

We all run over to the dinner table and sit down. The table is a modern circlukar table with a marble finish and a iPad in the table per person. We use the iPad to pick what we want.

I look around the table,

Jarod, black hair, mess cleaner.

Mark, Smart brown head kid.

Jenny, blonde, geologist.

George, literal rocket scientist.

Kenny, our weird biologist.

and Me, of course

Jay, blue eyes, beautiful face... I'm getting off topic. She is our topic researcher to see which topics are the most likely to save us if we research, right now we are trying laser defense and it is not working out well.

I order a baked potato like I normally get and we disscuss ideas for a bit. I bring up my idea to revisiting the Mars terraforming idea.

"But why?" George asks

"I would love too!" Jenny comments

"It might work" Kenny says

"I vote yes" Mark agrees with me because I made him a deal earlier to.

"I don't know about this" Jarod comes out of the blue with

"Your not even in this..." I mention

Now let me tell you something about George. He is very indecisive. He is probably saying in his head "yes, no, yes, no, yes" He eats and doesn't say anything. We are all waiting in anticipation for his answer and he doesn't give it? That's kind of rude. Everyone goes their separate ways after dinner.

I go back outside and sit on a bench looking at the Mars horizon. It is a mixture of oranges and reds mixed in with our star. Then you can see dust storms in the distance. The rovers and solar panels produce light from the sun while the Martian soil absorbs most of it. Our mini cactus's have that have been modified to live in a Martian landscape sit half baried in sand. While the palm trees in our bubble sit happily high and proud. They produce a good amount of the oxygen. Sometimes we have to let in some Martian air. That's it!

I run back inside to tell the others my idea, " what if we slowly expanded our bubble until people could start living in it? I asked the group.

"Theoretically it could work" Jay, the most beautiful woman says. Everyone agrees to do it and we get started. We start slowly expanding out bubble.

First we needed to get more plastics. Then keep the other bubble closed until we close up the bigger bubble. Remove smaller bubble then repeat. We still keep the lab in it's own bubble in case the bubble fails.

We soon have a bubble a half mile wide with grass growing everywhere. We are trying to come up with a more efficient way to keep air in.

We were thinking of doing some sort of robot to do it but then it could fail and destroy what we have created. We made separate areas so if one part of the bubble popped the rest stayed intact. We still need a more efficient way so we started designing drones. Thea drones would work together to put the bubble together, we scrapped the idea because the blades would cut the bubble.

Next we test out wood dimes but they deteriorated. The wood couldn't stand the Martian winds without oxygen. We need an idea and fast
