I wake up just like any normal day alarm goes off I slightly float to the breakfast and eat. But something was off. No one was there. Were they hiding for a surprise? I check every room and they are empty of lifeforms. Where could they have gone?

I check everywhere, outside, in the research rooms... no suits were missing. Weird. Then suddenly it of no where they come out of the place I forgot to check. The basement.

We always had the basic building, the bedrooms, the kitchen. But I guess we need more now because when they came up they asked me to design them a room, a workout room connected by the bedrooms and kitchen.

They claimed that they already ordered all the equipment so if I don't do it we will have treadmills laying around.

First I must design a blueprint, me being an architect it shouldn't be difficult...

It took me three days to make the blueprint. And then build time for it should be about a week so it's not too bad. We have all of the materials and we just need to get an airlock door. They claim that they got that too because they knew we would of needed it.

I make edits to the blueprints for a day while we wait for the materials to arrive.

The materials are arriving today. We suit up ready to go get them. Then we get a message from mission control.

"We got a problem, it is going to be a little bit off the original landing area."

"That's fine mission control, just send us the new location" I ping them back

"The problem is we don't know until it lands now sir"

"That's ok, let us know afterwards, we will head out near it's original planned location"

We get in the Martian buggy. It looks a lot about the buildings with the triangular windows with white edges allowing the people to see everywhere.

We all get into the vehicle fasten our seatbelts and go off. We head down the beautiful dunes as the wind sways them back and forth. As we get closer to our destination the estimated range of the landing gets more pinpoint.

About 95% of the way there the supply rocket lands. We alter our path slightly to make it there and we stopped right in front of it.

"Now you guys need to get that out of there fast because a storm is coming soon"

We hurry up so much that we forget to talk to space control. We load the 700 pound spaceship into the vehicle with our exosuits. The suits each can hold 200 pound so we needed 4 of us to lift it while the others kept the engine warm.

By the time we get home the night has come and the storm is coming to the base soon so we need to get in fast. We pull everything outside into the bubble then start unpacking the supply rocket. It had plenty of machines and plenty of materials to build 3-4 rooms. I start setting up the foundation when the storm hits.

The wind was so extreme it looked like we were underground. I decide to hide in my bedroom tonight because I don't want to chance being flown away by that storm if it were to breach the bubble.

When I wake up in the morning it was fine and dandy out side perfect for building. We finish up the foundation and start building up the window walls. The walls are white just like the rest of the research labs. As we build it up the time ticks by as it 1pm, 2pm, etc. By the time we are finished it is about 5pm and it is time to eat and get ready to test the lab out. We all go in and order our food and eat in silence.

We push all the equipment into the new workout room and plug them all in. We add the finishing touches like solar panels and a planetarium on the top for oxygen given to the outside bubble.

I look at the dome shape of the bubble about feeling almost as if we are being watched. From far away like a human observing and any farm. We can't see them but they can see us, but as quickly as that feeling appeared it went away.

Tonight I couldn't sleep well. I look around at my room I have my figurines, my computer, comic books, other nerdy things( models ). I slowly drift asleep as I think about all the things in my room and how I can even fit it all in there.

I wake up in the morning and look outside the world seems a bit less contained and looks like the bubble isn't there.

"Will you have to see this!" George screams across the halls.
