It's already morning and the sun light is beaming at my face, I turn around and groan but it's too late, it had already woken me up. Sighing I Stand up and walk to the bathroom to brush my teeth and shower. I decide to wear a grey sweatshirt, black skinny jeans, a converse and brushing my hair then leaving it down before putting on my grey beanie.

When I'm done I see Violet still sleeping so I walk past her and go to the kitchen. No-one is awake so I go straight to making my coffee and head back up stairs to the balcony.

Sitting down on the swing chair, my mind can't help but drift off. It's so peaceful outside as I see people going about with their daily activities. The mailman dropping off mails, a lady watering her plants who waves at the mail man smiling before he walks away to the next house, the two people taking a walk and talking as they make each other laugh, the old lady and old man on their front porch drinking what I'm guessing is either coffee or tea together while cuddling with each other and watching the scene in front of them.

Sighing and sipping my coffee I can't help but wish to experience that someday not just to the two people in love but just true happiness. I may not know what they are going through but they all look happy and I can't help but want to look the same way.

"Don't worry, it's all in due time." a voice says cutting me off from my thoughts.

I turn my head around to see Rebecca standing by the doors.

"How did you know I was?"

"How did I know you were here? I didn't actually, I just wanted to look outside and I saw you here."

"Actually I was gonna ask how you knew what I was thinking about."

"Oh" she laughs a little "The look gave it away."

"Oh what look?"

"The look of longing and want"

I mentally face palm myself. I didn't want her to think I wasn't happy here, cause I actually would not ask for a better place actually I couldn't think of a better place.

"Rebecca I............" I start before she cuts me off.

"It's ok honey, I know." she says and I wonder how she is reads me so well.

"I mean, I love it here." I say.

"but." she says and I look down.

"I miss her, you know? And I can't help but wonder what it'll be like if she was right here......................." I look away back at the people outside.  "with..... me."

She comes closer and places a hand on my shoulder, then I turn around and hug her, wanting her to hold me.

As of she reads my mind again, that's all she does. She doesn't say anything else, which I'm grateful for cause I didn't really wanna talk about it anymore.
