The setback

Déjà-vu ?

        It's  finally Elle's 17th birthday. 'Procrastination is over.'  she thought to herself. Filled with so called 'maturity,' this teen started to get head over the mountain about becoming a young lady. 

      Eyes lit big and bright, lips getting thin and wide nearly reaching ear to ear and ears steadily moving up to the roof; Elle was so eager and hyped  towards the day.  In addition,  her bestie Sandy had made reservations at a chic restaurant 'Jacque RoseGold.' The girls literally gasped just hearing the name.

       Hours furiously passed; the daylight has been put to sleep since the time has come. Preparing roughly a week from now for this day;  Elle was still nervous. The time had finally arrived when both girls had to meet up outside the restaurant. Mind you that even though it was dark out Elle was feeling a bit 'boujee' after talking herself into being brave and bold. Standing aimlessly in front of the restaurant was Sandy.  Wearing a close-fitted maroon suede short thin strapped dress; walking towards her fiercely with a hit of elegance behold Elle, giving a sexy leg showcase from her bright, long ,red silk side splitted  dress. Sandy was stunned and coincidentally there were teen boys around which caused a jaw dropping reaction towards the girls.

    Being in an confident and nonchalant mind set the girls went through the night as expected, having a blast. They took part in karaoke, got cheered on, also tasted essquisite dishes which had their lips throbbing, and eyes dilated after every bite. During all the excitement, there happened to be a 6 feet, bright eyed boy with the appearance of a gentleman staring at Elle's every move. At first she felt intimidated, and told Sandy about him but tried to do it without him realizing it. Somehow he got the drift but unfortunately he never made an approach so the girls continued with their night.

       The next day surprisingly, the same boy at the restaurant happened to send Elle a friend request on Facebook. Feeling enlightened from that joyful night, Elle opened her account to see over 50 requests and accepted all. After just five minutes the same boy she recognized from last night whose name is Joel messaged her and of course she answered being that she had obtained feelings for him. Immediately she told Sandy what had happened. Call this 'love at first sight' but just after texting for roughly a week and getting to know each other Elle and Joel became a 'couple.'

   Over five months the couple found themselves getting closer and deep....or so Elle thought. During the relationship of course what was in the dark came into the light. Elle was in town doing some errands, and one of Joel's friend ambushed with hurtful things talking down to her from what Joel had said
behind her back. Suddenly tears started pouring down her heated cheeks whilst being hurt verbally. All the scenarios from the past vividly appeared in her mind making her feel broken, unwanted and pathetic again.....thinking to herself that things will never change it just hits differently and with more character being that the person she thought loved her dearly actually said those stuff about her.
