There were four gods that existed who were very powerful. They all agreed that building a world, a dimension would be a good challenge for them. After all, what is so great being all-powerful and doing nothing with it. So they set out to build the Overworld, where they built it over the course of ten days. During the Overworld's creation, one of the Gods, Cryus, wished to add complex life forms to fill this world. The twin God and Goddess, Nerius and Nerian did not agree to add humans or animals, so they created the monsters, Skeletons, Zombies, and Creepers to counter the creation. Cryus, amused by this, decided to create the Sun and the Moon to make sure the monsters are controlled so that humans can thrive during the day. The twins became angered and proceeded to give each race a leader, to coordinate, to give the monsters an advantage. Cyrus and the twins fought for days before Cryus sent them down into the Void, where nothing existed. Together, Nerian and Nerius used their rage and anger to create the hellish dimension known as the Nether, to counter the Overworld's existence. They created the Wither skeletons, the Magma slimes, Zombie Pigmen, Blazes and other dark beings known as Titans, embodying the dark gods' desires.
During this dispute, Ender added the minerals, the caves to satisfy the curiosity and adventure of humans, he made the bedrock, to separate the world from the Void. At some point, Ender did not wish to intervene anymore with Cryus's creation. Ender left the Overworld and like Nerius and Nerian, created his own realm, the End. Ender created the Ender Dragon to be its guardian, as he watched the events of the Overworld and Nether unfold, he created the Endermen, once humans who were dedicated and loyal to him. They act as his eyes and ears in the Overworld, so he gave them the ability to teleport and the ability to defend themselves. Though the four gods are not friends, they did have meetings to reconnect, to forget their past temporarily and celebrate their creations. Even Nerius and Nerian did not admit this, they enjoyed using these meetings to show off their creations.
Over time, Cryus added vegetation, trees, oceans, and with these elements, humanity grew. Even with the monsters hindering them, major kingdoms formed, each with varying levels of technological advancement. Still, the Zombie King, Creeper King, Skeleton King, and the Spider Queen are a threat to humanity, so Cryus created a being from a fraction of his own essence, Steve. A human being, a selfless hero for people across the Overworld named Steve. Cryus even decided to allow Steve to be deathless, but not in the sense that he was invincible. Rather each time he would die, he would come back to life later on, but it would take varying times depending on his death. Over time, he died many times, and each time, became lonelier and lonelier. Since Steve met all of Cryus's expectations and more, he allowed Steve to make a wish. So Steve asked for a companion, for a friend to accompany him through his life, deathless, so Steve will never be alone again. He and Cryus created Alex, taking another fraction of his essence to do so, also making her a heroine, setting out to have adventures with Steve and save the occasional village along the way.
This is how the Overworld, Nether, and End came to be.
