Adrian's POV

I wake up in the same position as I went to sleep, which is laying on the huge luxurious bed, fit for Kings or Queens. As I lift myself up, I groan in pain from the wound. I look around the room and take all of it in, as it was pretty big.

"Hey sleepy head, you're finally awake."

I turn around to see Ceris leaning on the entrance to the room, the purple door wide open.

"Were you standing there watching me sleep this whole time?" I ask, arching an eyebrow.

"No. I arrived a few minutes before you woke up," responds Ceris. "You also snore very loudly by the way."

I laugh and stand up, walking towards her as casually as possible. Then I did what is probably the most stupid thing I've ever done. Considering the fact I'm dealing with a girl I barely met that may or may not kill me. I put my arm around Ceris.

"So, will give me the honor of showing me around?" I ask, smiling, praying that I won't be stabbed in the gut by her very menacing obsidian blade. I instantly feel her stiffen.

"First, it's virtually impossible to 'walk' around here, it's simply too large. Along with the fact that you are still too weak, so if I try to teleport you around, it would probably kill you. Besides, it would probably be wise to use my teleportation ability wisely, especially on a mortal who could potentially be a future Ender Watcher," she replies. "And secondly, you're lucky you are a very handsome man, otherwise you'd be dead."

I laugh nervously, then she starts to move and leans into me as our eyes meet for a few awkward moments. Her gleaming purple eyes causing me to blush.

"So, where to?" I say and seconds later everything turns black. Around me, there is a garden, with what I assume are plants and vegetation belonging to the End. In front of me is a large fountain, spewing out a purple liquid. I'm starting to get annoyed with purple.

"This is Ender's garden, where he experimented with various different designs for plants," she explains, as she helps me to sit down on the edge of the fountain.

"Interesting... I was wondering, how did you become an Ender Watcher?" I ask. "Also, how is it that you were not turned into an Enderman?"

"Well, it's a long story..."

"Trust me, I have plenty of time," I reply.

"Ok, I assume you'd heard of Steve and Alex?"

"I've met Steve for the first time only recently, as he sacrificed himself to save the Stronghold," I explain.

"Ah, I wouldn't worry if I were you. Steve died plenty of times, he'll be back soon as the other times he died," replies Ceris.

"Hmm, I assume it's because of Cryus's doing. As for Alex, I know of her, but I've never met her," I say, thoughtfully.

"Well, I'm basically what you would call a sister. I've been with Alex ever since she was created by Cryus," explains Ceris. "I've always looked up to her, she was perfect in every way."

"So you two have become so close that Alex considers you are part of her family and you consider her as part of your family?"

"Yeah, but unfortunately, I don't really remember how long ago, but I got transported to the End by some sort of black portal," she continues. "I was only 16 years old when I got separated from Alex."

I see purple tinted tears beginning to form so I brush them away.

"Don't worry, as long as I'm alive, I promise you that I'll help you find Alex. You'll see her again. I promise."
