I wasn’t thinking straight. Nung makita ko si Carly na pasugod sa akin, all I thought about was how to escape her rage. So I did the boldest thing I have never done in my whole life, initiate a kiss to someone who wasn’t even my boyfriend.
The moment I opened my eyes, Kevin’s eyes were as wide as they can be. I bet he never did close them from the start.
“Ehem. Ate.”
Time to proceed with the show.
“Carly.” I faced my sister with a force smile.
“T-teka.. Ikaw si Kevin Aragon, diba?” her attention was fixed now on the guy beside me when she fully realized who it was. “Shet. Sandali lang ha, medyo naguguluhan ako…” she paused for a few seconds before turning back to me. “Ate, may dapat ba ako’ng malaman?” her voice was authoritative and right then I knew, wala na talagang atrasan ito.
“Carly, si Kevin…” I took a deep breath. “Boyfriend ko.”
“Ano?!” Carly and Riley said in unison
“Uhm. Let’s just talk when we get home. Okay?” I forced a smile at my sister just before I grab Kevin’s hand and pulled him out of there
Maingay sa buong university, music coming from different areas and voices of people talking nonstop. Pero me and Kevin, tahimik lang kami’ng naglalakad.
God. Ano ba ito’ng pinasok ko? Nahawa na yata ako sa kabaliwan ni Belle.
Natigilan lang ako ng biglang may humila sa akin paatras.
“May poste.” Sabay turo ni Kevin sa posteng nasa harapan ko.

“Mind telling me what you did back there?” he asked
I sighed before sitting on the bench next to us.
“Sorry. I didn’t know what else to do.” I dropped my head in between my hands. “Ayokong maging dahilan ng misunderstanding nila. That’s why I lied.”
“Eh ano nga ba ang totoo?” wow marunong pala sya magtagalog.
