Chapter 5: Cardo's Type

Becky woke up the next day and decided to fix some coffee for herself and Cardo. As she went to the kitchen she looked at the couch and saw him sleeping peacefully. She thought to herself:

Becky: he's so cute when he's sleeping

She blushed and fixed two cups for coffee for the both of them. The strong scent of the brew woke Ang Probinsyano up.

Becky: good morning

Cardo: morning, the coffee woke me up

Becky giggled and handed him a mug

Becky: did you sleep well?

Cardo: it was alright, the couch was a bit lumpy. You're lucky you had the bed

Becky blushed a little.

Cardo: so do we have any live events to go to?

Becky: oh no, since we're on SmackDown, we get the rest of the week off

Cardo: really?

Becky nodded

Cardo: so what do you guys usually do on your week off?

Becky: well me, AJ, Alex, Charlotte and Lexi work out at the gym to work out

Cardo: oh sweet

Becky: so do you want to come today?

Cardo: yeah, I want to prove myself

Becky: you want something to eat before we go?

Cardo: just give me a salad

Becky: sure

Becky grabbed a bowl of salad for Cardo and a small pack of quinoa for herself. She handed the salad to Cardo.

Cardo: thanks

This was another opening for another of Becky's puns.

Becky: LETTUCE enjoy our breakfast

She laughed and Cardo had a sly grin on his face.

Cardo: that was a good one. How do you come up with those puns?

Becky: it just comes to me

Cardo: well they're very creative

Becky's cheeks flushed a light shade of red, but she covers them with her hands

Becky: so what do you think of Alex as a cousin?

Cardo: as a cousin? No, I see him as a brother and best friend, but you know him, he's a bit of a joker

Becky: yeah, I can see that. Lexi is lucky to have him

Cardo: yeah he told me after he broke up with his ex-girlfriend. No wonder why he's always happy because he got Lexi

Becky: why won't you follow what he does?

Cardo: Becky, I already made it clear. I don't have the time for that

Becky: right sorry. But may I ask who is your type?

Cardo: my type? Well I like someone who is fun, pretty and cute

Hearing this made Becky's cheeks flush even a darker shade of red because every characteristic Cardo mentioned fits her perfectly.

Cardo: wherever and whoever she is, I hope to meet her, but you already know I don't have the time to pursue a relationship

Becky: I know, but if you do, she'll be lucky to meet someone like you
