Chapter 28
*Liam’s P.O.V*
“Kelsey are you ready yet?” I call out to my girlfriend, I told her to be ready by half six and it’s now 7:15.
“Nearly!” I hear in reply. I sigh and sit down on the bottom of the steps. Allie’s looking after the girls so I’m taking Kelsey out and Harry’s taking Jasmine somewhere too. I hear a cough and stand, turning to see Kelsey walk down the stairs wearing black skinny jeans with ankle boots and a red vest top, black leather jacket in her hand, her light brown highlights were made more prominent with the lighting as her hair curled down her shoulders.
“About time!” I scold playfully as she walks down the stairs. “But you look gorgeous!” I say, pecking her on the lips and earning a giggle and ‘meanie’ as I pulled away. “Come on, the film starts in an hour.” I say as I take her hand and lead her towards the car, she giggles as I open the passenger door and bow slightly before closing the door and heading over to the driver’s side. I put the radio on for the half hour journey down low as background noise while we discussed what we thought the film would be like.
When we arrived at the cinema, I put my snapback on in the hope that I won’t be recognised. I love the fans but I want to spend some time doing normal things without being mobbed. I think it works as we aren’t disturbed as we queue for the tickets. I hand the money over to the cashier for the tickets after arguing with Kelsey who then insisted on paying for snacks and walked off hand in hand with the beautiful brunette after the cashier cooed ‘you two are so cute’ and I promised to return for a photo after the film. When we got into the screening room we decided to sit at the back as the room was busy. We snuck into the seats right in the back corner and Kelsey giggled.
“I feel like a teenager rebelling up here.” She laughed after I looked at her puzzled. I laughed and pecked her on the cheek.
“Rebelling?”
“You know, when teenagers go to the back to kiss and stuff and not pay attention to the movie.” She giggles and I can’t help but laugh.
“Damn, you guessed my plan!” I pretend to sulk and turn to face the screen, picking pieces of popcorn out of the bucket. I feel a weight on my shoulder and glance to my side to see Kelsey with her head resting on my shoulder and glancing up at me with the most adorable chocolate brown puppy dog eyes. I can’t resist and lean down to peck her lips. I feel the vibration from her laugh on my lips and as the lights in the room go out, she runs her tongue across my bottom lip. I refuse her entry and pull away, earning a whine from my beautiful girl. I sit up straight and wrap my arm around her shoulders as best I could with the armrest in the way just as Thor 2 started. Throughout the film, we kept stealing kisses from each other and missing half of the film. Any other time, I would be gutted about missing it but when I’m in amazing company and getting kisses instead, I can cope with it. Plus it’s the first time we’ve been able to have time alone since they found Elle so I guess we’re making the most of it. Once the film ends, we wait until most of the others have left before I grab her hand and we slowly walk out of the showing, swinging our entwined hands between us.
“I like this.” She sighs, I glance towards her and see that she’s looking down at our hands and smiling.
“Me too babe.” I reply, kissing her on her forehead and sighing in satisfaction. As we approach the desk, the cashier from earlier comes towards us.
“Just a warning, there are loads of paparazzi outside, they were all in here earlier but we managed to get them out. Someone must have seen you and posted it online or something. There’s probably lots of fans too. We’ve shut the building so that no one can get in until you leave to make it easier for you.” She smiles at my then turns to Kelsey and her smile fades. I glance beside me to see my angel frozen in fear. I squeeze her hand reassuringly and she glances up at me.
