Chapter 31
*Niall’s P.O.V*
We’ve just arrived at our hotel in L.A. I feel much more relaxed already knowing that I have Elle beside me and that it will be harder for anyone to get to her especially as our security has been dramatically increased. We have today off and then we’re performing at the iHeart radio festival tomorrow night. We’re performing a few of our songs and then I’ve got a special song I’m doing. I’m crapping myself! It’s a completely different song to what we normally do and the lads are going to try and help me but it’s one of Elle’s favourite bands and I want to do something nice for her.
“Ni?” I glance up to see Elle wearing a dark blue cut-out swimsuit with a towel wrapped around her waist. She looked absolutely gorgeous! “I’m heading up to the pool with the girls. You coming?”
“I’ll be up in a bit, I want to get some practice in for tomorrow.” I smile and she nods before heading out of the door. Once she’d gone, I text the guys to come over to practice my song.

*Elle’s P.OV*
It’s the iHeart radio festival today and I’m really excited! It’s the first time I’ve seen the lads perform in ages and it’s a huge gig! There was a knock on the door and Paul calling for us to hurry up. I quickly threw on a black vest and black skinny jeans before heading out to meet the rest in the lobby.
As soon as we arrived, the lads were whisked off to see Ryan Seacrest, I nearly fangirled when I saw him! One of the stage hands led us to the side of the stage where we could watch the rest of the performances.
“Please welcome ONE DIRECTION!!” Ryan shouted as the crowd screamed, the boys running out from the other side of the stage to us, opening with Rock Me.
“L.A how are you doing?” Niall’s question was answered by screams. “Now I’ve got a special song that I want to sing.” He nods towards where we were stood and Kelsey pushed me towards the stage as Niall was getting his head microphone and guitar sorted.
“As most of you know, there’s been a lot going on with the band lately and especially with me and Elle. I came so close to losing her and it made me realise that although we haven’t been together for very long, that I can’t live without you. Don’t worry, I’m not proposing yet.” He said with a smirk and a wink as my mouth dropped. “But I wanted to do something to show you how much I love you so I thought what better way than to sing a special song?” The crowd screams as Harry sits me down on a stool in front of Niall as he nods towards Josh.
