My Savior

Hanbin's POV:
I awoke due to the cold air hitting my face. I hadn't realized that my window had been open the entire night. I sighed and put on a warm sweater and proceeded to close my window. I then went back to my bed and stared up at the ceiling. I then started to think about Jinhwan, and how him being hospitalized was caused by all my wrong doings. I sighed, and put my hands over my eyes. I then started to feel hot tears coming out.

Why am I such a coward...?
I thought to myself, as I was wiping my hot tears away.

I then arose from my bed, got dressed, and headed out the door. I then started walking to my car and proceeded to start up the engine. As I was driving I noticed that it had started raining heavily, I sighed and quickly made my way towards the hospital were Jinhwan was staying at. Once I parked the car, I quickly ran to the building and went up to the front desk.

"Hello, I am here to see Kim Jinhwan."
I said quickly, I don't wanna waste any time.
The man quickly looked up and lightly smiled at me.

"Oh! Of course!"
He replied cheerfully.
"He had just woke up today, he was in a bad but short coma, please be gentle with him, his mind and body at very sensitive."
I nodded and quickly thanked the man before I made my way toward Jinhwan's room.

As I entered the room I saw Jinhwan, laying there, staring up at the ceiling.

"Hey..."
I say quietly.
He then looked away from the ceiling and looked directly at me.

"H-Hanbin...?"
He asked while looking at me intently.
"Why are you here?"
He added, while furrowing his brows at me.

"I came to visit you."
"I was worried about you and I wanted to take care of you."
Jinhwan looked at me then quickly glanced away, facing the other side of the room.

"If you really cared about me, why'd you do this to me?"
He asked while tears started forming on the corners of his eyes.

"I'm sorry Jinhwan, please. Forgive me. I didn't mean to hurt you, it was all an accident. I'll treat you better this time, just please give me another chance..."
I said, while approaching him.
He looked at me with shock in his eyes, he then started to cry and take hold of my hand.

"Hanbin... I don't know why I keep giving you so many chances but...please...promise me you won't hurt me anymore.."
Jinhwan said while looking at me in the eyes.

"I won't Jinhwan, I won't."
I whispered as I kissed his hand.

"I love you Hanbin..."
Jinhwan said with a soft smile on his face.

"I love you with all my heart.."
I replied while kissing his cheek.

"It's crazy how, we haven't even known each other for two weeks...and...I feel so connected with you."
Jinhwan whispered while caressing my cheek.

"Jinhwan, it doesn't matter how long we've known each other. I know you're the one for me. In these past 8 days, you saved me. You've... changed me."
What I was saying was true. Jinhwan really did change me. He taught me how to love someone properly, how to care for someone. He really is my savior. He never gave up on me, even up until this point.

"Awww Hanbin, is that really how you feel?"
He asked with a big smile on his face.

"Of course Jinhwan, Why would I lie?!"
I replied while laughing.
Jinhwan then sat up and gave me a passionate kiss. When he released the kiss he looked at me and started playing with my hair. While we were getting lost in each other's eyes, a man came in holding a clipboard.

"Kim Jinhwan?"
The man asked with a bright smile.
"You are free to go! Just be careful."
Jinhwan's eyes brightened.

"Really?! Thanks."
He replied.

The man quickly helped Jinhwan out of the bed and gave him his clothes.

I sat there staring at Jinhwan the whole time. I'm glad that he was only in the hospital for one night. After Jinhwan was ready to go, I quickly held onto his hand. As we were exiting the hospital I took a glance at him, and smiled. He then saw me and smiled back at me.

"Can you take me home?"
Jinhwan asked me.

"Yes of course."
I replied.
The car ride was very silent, but in a good way. It was more of a good silence than an awkward one. I wanted to make sure Jinhwan felt safe around me. I didn't want to ask him so many questions. Once we got to his house he quickly got out of the car and ran up to the door. As I was approaching the door, I saw Yunhyeong standing in front of Jinhwan.

"Me and Chanwoo were just about to go visit you right now! Why didn't you tell me you were getting discharged?!"
Yunhyeong was always so dramatic with his reactions when it came to Jinhwan, but that just showed how much he cares about him.

"Haha sorry, it was in short notice and well, I dont think my phone is exactly working right now"
Jinhwan replied while rubbing his neck frantically.

"It's okay, just come in, it's cold."
Yunhyeong added while patting Jinhwans back.
"Thank you for being with him.."
Yunhyeong whispered to me.

"It's no problem."
I replied.

"Hey, Jinhwan, you feeling alright?"
Chanwoo asked, as he saw Jinhwan going to his room.

"Yeah I'm just exhausted, thanks for asking"
Jinhwan replied.
"Hey, Yunhyeong, can Hanbin stay with me tonight? I'm not comfortable with sleeping alone, and I know you need your space.. so I don't think you should sleep with me."
Jinhwan asked while eyeing me.

"Yeah, if he's okay with it."
He replied while starting at me.

"Yeah, of course ,"
I answered.
