Sixteen

"Jin hyung! Oh my god oh my god ooooh my gOD!" Taehyung hollered while tugging on the olders shirt.

"What?" The eldest responded praying that that would shut the younger up.

"I think it worked..." Tae responded.

"You think what worked? Come on Tae you have to be specific or I won't know what you're talking about-- oh, oh my." The wave of realization hit Jin like a truck as he figured out the boy hanging off of him was referring to Project Y.M.

Before Seokjin let himself get his hopes to high he asked the younger how he knew.

"Okay, so I don't know for sure..." 

"Oh come on? Are you serious-"

"NO! Hyung you have to believe me. I mean the way Yoongi hyung ran to Jiminie hyung? Dude it was like a scene from a movie!" The boy explained with hearts in his eyes.

"Okay well they're still in the practice room right? Let's just go... ya know, take a peak? I mean what's the worst that could happen?" Seokjin proposed.

"Sounds like a plan."

Jimin's heart must've exploded when he heard those words.

I love you too, Jimin-ah

The boy was grasping clinging onto Yoongi as if his life depended on it. Like if he let go he would fall to his death. And Yoongi? He was holding on just as tight. 

Time didn't stop, it wasn't like that. In fact, it didn't slow down at all. For the two boys, it felt like their connection was the only thing that kept the world turning, that kept the sun shining, their connection was what kept the moon in orbit around the earth. 

In reality, Jimin had been crying into the crook of Yoongi's neck for about 10 minutes and while he did, Yoongi stood there comforting him the whole time. The younger felt his legs tiring so as he started to give into the fatigue his hyung guided him down to the floor where they now sat, still holding one another in the middle of the mirror-lined room.

Only a few seconds after the two sat down Jimin removed his head from Yoongi and wiped his tears. When he looked up at the boy he loved, he saw a tear run down the elders cheek as well. Immediately understanding what the younger was looking at, he began to explain the reason behind his tears. 

"Seeing you cry makes me cry." A sad smile making its way across his face.

"So-" Jimin was interrupted by a bold statement.

"I want you to be my boyfriend," Jimin's eyes lit up, "But you know we are idols, in an incredibly popular group, from a not so accepting country." There it was again, Yoongi's sad smile.

"Yes Hyung, I know. If it makes any difference, I want to be your boyfriend so badly it hurts, but you're right." The shorter male confessed while shifting his gaze to his fidgeting hands.

Yoongi noticed the others nervous behavior and moved his hand to hold the younger's. The action alone enough to send both their hearts into a frenzy.

"We can convince them," Jimin's daring words captured the elders attention, "Manager Sejin and Bang PD-nim!" hope laced in his tone.  

"You know, I don't know how we're gonna do it... but i believe in us. So Jimin?" Yoongi brought a hand up to the younger's chin, "Will you be mine?" 

"Yes Hyung. A hundred times yes." 

As Jimin finished answering Yoongi, he placed a soft and sweet kiss upon the lips of the boy he has loved.

Seokjin and Taehyung quietly removed their heads from the crack between the door and its frame. 

"So uh... the plan worked..." The brunette said wide eyed while looking at the eldest clearly still in shock.

"Yup, definitely worked..." Jin agreed, quickly walking away from the door.
