{ Silver's POV }
I was walking towards Embry's place and I opened the door with my key.
I slipped into the door and went upstairs, looking at everything which now had a layer of dust on it.
I sighed and knocked on Embry's door but he didn't answer. I poked my head inside and saw he wasn't there.
I heard sounds coming from my room and I opened the door and almost vomited.
I saw Embry in some vertical wrestling position with another girl, their tongues practically down each other's throats.
I let out a snarl of fury and pain and he looked up and saw me. His eyes widened and I shook my head.
"Un fucking believable." I said and stormed down the stairs, my fists clenched. Embry raced after me.
"Silver I can explain..." And I spun around and punched him in the face.
I grabbed him by the throat and slammed him into the ground, cracking the tiles beneath our feet.
"Silver please."
He choked out but I threw him into the wall. "Why Embry? Just tell me why." I said, tears streaming down my face. "He imprinted again. He doesn't want you anymore." And I looked at the girl who was on the stairs.
I looked down at Embry who was getting up. I pulled the ring off of my finger and dropped it at his feet.
"We're done. Don't call me again."
I said and walked away, my eyes burning with agony. I went to Billy's, and found Jacob. He looked up from where he was working on a car.
"Silver what happened?..."
And I walked over and hugged him tightly. He hugged me and I felt tears welling up. "What happened?"
He asked and I shook my head.
"Embry... He imprinted on someone else." I whispered and he looked at me, his eyes darker with anger.
"Let's tell Sam." And I nodded and we raced off, running towards the alpha's house. I raced beside Jacob as we reached Sam's house. Sam opened the door. "What happened?" He asked immediately after he had let me in.
Jacob came in for moral support and I suddenly found I had a lump in my throat, so Jacob took up the story.
"It's not supposed to be possible, but to have him say it to your face that he doesn't want you anymore... That doesn't sound like Embry." And I lowered my head to the table.
"I came back because you said he wanted to talk. I don't care anymore. Sam can I stay here?"
I asked, my voice utterly broken.
Sam looked at me.
"Of course you can. But you've got to expect Paul, Reed, Jared, Quil..." And I looked up. "Quil phased?" I asked and he nodded. "Guess Embry didn't tell you." He said and I nodded somberly.
I walked into my room and found Embry waiting. I shook my head and felt my hands shaking, as well as my whole body. Suddenly I heard a howl of surprise and I pushed him to the side and dove into the open air.
I rolled and came up as a wolf, racing off and I found Quil and Paul looking at Jasper, Edward, and Rosalie.
I stopped and looked between the groups. "That's enough."
I said, dropping my shield so that Edward could hear as well.
He nodded and stood between Jasper, Rosalie, and Paul. Paul crouched and bowed his head.
I stood in human and I stood between Paul, Quil, and the three Cullens.
"I thought you were in Alaska." Edward said and I looked at him.
"Plans change Edward. How's Bella?"
I asked, looking at Paul who was snarling, getting restless.
"Easy Paul."
I said and he nodded and sat on his haunches. I looked back to Edward.
"She's fine." He said and Jasper chuckled. "What he's not saying is that they're engaged now."
And I raised my eyebrows.
"You hurt her, and I'll rip your head off. No questions asked." I said and he nodded. "I understand." He said and I nodded. Suddenly Embry raced in as a wolf and I ignored him.
I felt my heart harden like stone as he whined to try and catch my attention, but I ignored him. "So what are you doing here?" I asked, looking at them as I pulled my shorts on.
"Checking to see if Edward can read your thoughts and Jasper can fool with your emotions of course."
Rosalie said, hissing at me, her fangs pointed. I rolled my eyes.
"Your bark is much worse then your bite Rosalie Cullen." I said and she hissed and lunged. Embry leaped clean over my head and landed in front of me, snarling at Rosalie.
"Well even if she hates you, you'll still protect her. Impressive." Edward said, responding to something Embry had said in his thoughts clearly, as no one had said anything out loud.
I shook my head. "Get out of here." I said and they disappeared, racing off.
Paul nudged me with his nose and Embry looked at me, his golden yellow eyes filled with pain.
I pretended I couldn't see him as I pulled my jacket off. "Go." I said and Paul jogged away with Quil, but I knew Embry hadn't left.
"Go away Embry Call." I said coldly and he phased, standing in front of me as a human. I heard him stand up and I said nothing as I felt his hand on my back. I looked down at my feet.
"Look I'm sorry." He said and I pushed him away, and I looked at the key ring I had attached to my belt. I broke the key ring and pulled off the key to his house and threw it at him.
"Go away! I don't want to see you again! You stupid idiot!" I roared and he looked at me.
"It wasn't my choice. You know that." And I looked at him. "You have two. What I want to know... Is why you chose her over me." I said quietly.
"It wasn't me." And I looked up and saw him standing a step away from me. "It was the wolf."
