IT'S BEEN TWO days after incident and she doesn't have any business with Jungkook anymore. And her life back to normal again.
Chaeyoung just finished her make-up and look up once again in the mirror for final checks; she's wearing a simple grey jumper dress hanging above her reddish knees complete with white Adidas sneakers.
She will on stage for two till three hours to entertain the guests who eat dinner at the restaurant she's working for.
A double knock flinch her bit and a figure show himself from back the door. It's her co-worker, a pianist whom sometimes accompanies her on stage.
"Chae, let's go it's five already." Jaehwan, the pianist guy pulls out a big grin, and stand right in front of the door, "and Manager said you can leave at six,"
Chaeyoung almost drop her phone when heard what Jaehwan just said, she snaps her head toward the guy, "he what?"
Jaehwan crosses his arms and shrug, "he'll dismiss you at six, and he said you can take a day off after that.
Lucky you, Chaeyoung." He closes it with a sweet dimple on his face.
Chaeyoung try to process the information as Jaehwan out from the room after said I'll wait at front, don't take too long and leaving her alone in there.
It's really rare her manager (not manager actually, just the one who always ordering her around and let her know her schedule on stage) to call the day of. She mutters a happy yes and little jumpy dance in the make-up room as thinking this is real, she's getting a day off for real.
But then she realized Jaehwan already wait for her.
She takes a deep breath and out from the room, just to meet Jaehwan lean on the wall beside the door. Chaeyoung stumbles back as she found him beside her, put her hand on her heart and let it calm after realizing it just her friend.
Jaehwan gives a cocky smile and jerk his head to signal her to lets go and break a leg. Chaeyoung nods and Jaehwan leads the way.
As they walk to the stage in the middle of warm decorated of Christmas and she aware Jaehwan wears something similar to her—a dark grey turtleneck sweater and simple jeans. They looked decent somehow tonight and she likes the view.
It's nothing to hide, Chaeyoung has crush on Jaehwan since the first time she accepted at this restaurant. Jaehwan always beside her to help her with all the new environment and become her regular partner in crime for their stage presence.
The young woman chicken out when it comes to confession and already few times pushed away from 'Jaehwan-next-girlfriend' line. Jaehwan already had three ex-girlfriends since they first met and Chaeyoung has none experience but a stupid contract relationship back in middle school.
She's hopeless when it comes Jaehwan, but as long they can be partner on stage, she completely fine with it.
Chaeyoung takes her sit at her usual and Jaehwan ready with his grand piano. He gives her a thumb up and Chaeyoung pull the mic stand toward her, she sighs and close her eyes for a second.
"Good evening everyone, I'm Rosie and this is my partner, Jay. We will accompany your dinner, I hope enjoy it." She says smoothly.
The blonde girl turns her head to Jaehwan once more and let him know she's ready to break a leg.
