The next day has arrived very fast. Some people are cleaning up the disaster made last night at the party and others are ready to start looking again after their young alpha's mate. Dalton and Wilton with the searching team while Merlya is helping with the house cleaning, thinking that her son was still sleeping from the sedative Jinx given to him last night. But what they don't know is that Thomas wasn't sleeping for a long time. He woke up earlier than everyone. And by early, I mean at 5 a.m. and immediately started searching for Mark. When he finished dressing up, he decided to jump from his window so no one will notice his absence. If his mom would have seen what he did, she would be so mad at him that he will be punished for years. And that's because his room is on the second floor, so you can imagine that he got himself a little hurt when he landed.

Now he is running through the forest trying to smell his mate's scent, but at the same time he is scolded by his wolf, who is giving him a huge moral. Not even his mother given him such a moral. "I can't believe you rejected him like that!! No! I cannot believe you could reject our mates!! Tin-head!" Hyperion screamed at Thomas who is apologizing that he was a big idiot. "When we find them, I hope you won't have a stubborn idea again! Or I'll kick your ass!" "Not you too! It's not enough that I have my mother and my best friend after me, each one with a ladle?!" Thomas asked being scared at the same time. His parents are mad at him that he rejected his mate, his best friend as well and his friends might be angry as well.

After Hyperion, finished his "show" both him and Thomas began to feel Mark's scent. Thomas started to run faster until he saw his mate's car. The scene in front of his eyes made his heart stop. Mark's car is like a smashed metal box with the car's hood in a tree. Thomas runs to the car and begins to look for Mark. He sees him still in the driver's sit with his head in the airbag. Without hesitation he breaks the car's door and pulled Mark out of there. Mark has a bloody face full of cuts that still have some shards from the windshield in them. He has even in the rest of his body wounds with shards in them that are still bleeding.

Thomas tried to wake Mark up. He shacked Mark's body, but nothing. He tried mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, but also nothing. Then, even if he thought it is a dumb idea, he tries waking him up with light touches on the cheeks and kisses, but nothing worked. Seeing that nothing wakes his mate up, he puts his head on his chest, hoping he will hear his heart still beating. To his luck Mark's heart still beats and has a pulse, but a very weak one. He looks in the car to take Mark's luggages, but something strange draws Thomas's attention.

The airbag has a lot of black blood, which he never seen in his whole life, and a strange looking flower. He took the weird flower in a napkin, took his penknife out of his pocket and cut the airbag and put those two items in his jacket, then took Mark on his back, took Mark's luggages in his hands and started to run as fast as he could back to the pack so he could go with his mate to the hospital at Jinx. "Please Mark... Please be fine..." he said while making sure that his mate won't fall off his back.

After 15 minutes he returned to the pack and opened the door so sudden that everyone in the house got scared. He dropped the luggages around the stairs area and he runed to the hospital to ask Jinx to heal his little mate. Once in the hospital, Thomas went straight to Jinx's office without caring that the chef nurse was running after him screaming his name and opened the door with his foot making Jinx jump from his chair.

"Jinx! Please! Help him!" The doctor could not say anything because when he turned his head to his alpha, he saw how bad Mark was injured. "Fuck! Put him on the bed fast!" Jinx told Thomas, then he runs out from his office taking the chef nurse with him and quickly brings in all the necessary equipment. "Doctor Jinx, why did you take me away like... Oh dear Moon Goddess!! What happened to him?!" "Miss Brook, please calm down." Jinx told the elderly lady, then looked at Thomas while he was stabilizing Mark.
