He didn't know if it was because he's a corpse or the fact that he tried to 'murder' one of their people, but he was tied up differently than the other corpses in the carriage. The carriage he was currently on held about nine corpses excluding himself. They were all tied with grayish ropes, which seemed to be the standard binding ropes, while he was tied up with golden ropes. To his knowledge, these were this particular rope was the incredibly expensive type of rope that could even bind Gods they say.

It did not pain him physically, but he really had hoped that he was going to be kept with the other rope as it was much easier to break. Those men in white couldn't have known that he was able to break them yet they had taken precaution and bound him with this.

He was previously tied with the same ropes, but the young man before had spoken to 'HanGuang-Jun' and so they promptly replaced his ropes. It was not without struggle of course. He had purposely made it difficult for them to change the ropes by moving around, which earned him a couple of binding talismans. So now he really couldn't move at all, not even a finger. All he can do now is just wait obediently through the journey as he planned for an escape. He wasn't just going to give up that easily. This was his last life and he had to make sure he had enough time to initiate the revival of his powers.

Several long and elaborate plans were made throughout the long and bumpy journey, but he felt that they were all useless upon seeing the terrain. The carriage had a small opening by the right side and he could faintly see that they were going uphill, meaning that they were at least in the mountains and there were white robed men spread all over. Adding to the fact that he couldn't break the rope on his own, this immortal is basically fucked.

The immortal looked down in defeat. Soon enough after this he probably won't be called 'the immortal' anymore. He did have a name, but he had long forgotten about it and he has been trying hard to remember it for the past three lives. It was a key element to unlocking his powers, but he just had to forget.

Several hours passed and the carriage finally stopped. The back of the carriage opened, letting in the midday sun to disperse the resentful energy inside. The immortal couldn't help but close his eyes. The sun rays were really unbearable not because it was too bright, but the energy it gives countered the resentful and demonic energy of the ten corpses. The other nine were already agitated by the sun. The immortal tried to remain calm as he was being transported out. He let out a small growl as he suppressed the pain of the sun. He didn't realize it since he closed his eyes shut, but several of the white robed men had already eyed him in suspicion as he was the only corpse that didn't need a few extra restraints. Then again, he was wrapped in deity binding ropes and talismans, so they quickly turned their attention back to their own respective corpses.

These men seem to work quietly and swiftly, because in about fifteen minutes all the corpses were already transported into an underground dungeon. The ones that had carried him had removed the talismans from his body as they find it no use since the place was filled with it. The immortal was then placed inside a small cell where he can safely open his eyes again; but alas, they weren't of use. The dungeon was too dark for him to see and the talismans kept him from sensing anything. The only thing he can say now is how professional and prepared these people are, Ah!

Really, just how helpless can he be? First he was tied up and now he was being held in some spiritual level dungeon? He might as well be dead now!

The immortal sat in the middle of the cell crossed legged. Thankfully his captors were kind enough to not bind his legs. They probably had felt sorry for him after being the only one tied with a deity binding rope; or then again, it might just be because he was calm along the way here. The other nine however, were still growling and howling even until now. Oh how badly he wanted to shove a rock down their throats.
