day 1

Daniels POV

I walked outside in my balcony to see that it was snowing. I ran around my house trying not to wake up my roommate Zach he sleeps a lot. I went back on my balcony with hot chocolate, a sweater, gloves, and a scarf.

I've always loved this time of year when you can spread joy and make other people happy. But it's only one person in this town who doesn't celebrate and his name is Jack avery and I want to change that this year.

"Hey Dani wanna go to the bakery"

Zach was up and ready to go guess I wasn't so quit. Since I was already ready and agreed and we started walking to our favorite bakery it's a mix of of the 80s and it's adorable. We made it there and we sat down at our favorite booth which was by a window where we could see everybody and everything.

A waitress came over an I ordered pancakes while Zach ordered waffles. We sat and ate until it came to a point where he wanted to talk.

"Daniel I know what you're going to do I see it Everytime you blink and don't" he said drinking his coffee.

"What do yo- Jack avery that's what I mean, don't go being nice to him Daniel if he doesn't want it" I sighed knowing he was right and we were gonna go to the mall so we left.

"Zach it's so beautiful and it's snowing" I was twirling and dancing in the snow while Zach was watching me and laughing. It was funny to me too until I bumped into someone and Zach gasped which only made me curious to see who it was...it was Jack.

"Watch where your going you fucking freak of nature"

"That's not very nice Jack merry Christmas" he looked at me with to ice in his eyes and Zach came over and what I said I think shocked him.

"Would you like to come with us to the mall" Jack looked at me wide eyes and then growled out.

"No now leave me alone...but thanks for asking" he whispered the last part and a smile grew in my face untill Zach pulled me away and we started walking.

"Zach did ya here what he said he thanks" Zach rolled his eyes and started lecturing me but I ignored it.

Jack can change he just doesn't want to change maybe he needs someone like me to help him. Zach cut off my train of thought.

"So please will you not try to help him"

"Yeah, yeah okay Zach I want"

But what he didn't know was that I already had my plan worked out.
