day 25 (alternate chapter)

"So gabbie what's the plan"

"I'll be in the house calling the police while u distract max for a while...plz dont get killed"

Jack's POV

Max kicked me in the stomach and that's what woke me up. If your wondering who he is then he's my cousin. We were real close until my dad brain washed him into hating me and he hurt me. Since then he's been hating me for a while now, and I can't do anything about it, so I used to keep quiet. And now that he's found me, he wants to kill me, or Daniel, and I'm scared for Daniel, because he's the love of my life. And I can't save him because I'm kidnapped by max.

"Max, please, just let me go, I will do anything, please"

" it's too fucking late for that Jack, it's time for somebody to die, and we're gonna go over there to gabby's the trader house now and see who gets to live"

"Kill me instead of Daniel let him live a life I've already lived mine"

"Shut the fuck up and let's go" He pulled me up by my hair and drug me to his car and went to cabbies house.

I was praying and also hoping that they would not fall for his tricks. There was something in my back pocket it was Daniels Christmas present.

Daniels POV

I was scared I was snacking I just couldn't do it. I love him so I was trying to figure out a way to save us both but hey all had bad outcomes.

"Daniel... He's here" Gabbie then walked out of my room downstairs where there was this boy who was holding jack around the neck with a gun pointed to his head.

"Look I know you hate him but let him go and you can kill me okay"

"How can I fucking trust you"

"Jack tell him I'm the most innocent thing I don't lie" Jack looked at me wide eyed and he told him.

"He never lies just please don't hurt him"

"Shut up to many people are talking" He hit jack in the head with the gun and the next thing I knew was that he let go of jack and I ran towards him.

What we didnt know was that gabriel had a gun pointed at max so if he did anything...she would shoot.

"HEY DONT YOU MOVE"

*gun shot*

Everything moved in slow motion...I dropped to the ground by jack and hugged him while out the corner of my eye max was bleeding in his chest...we won we did it.

"Jack, jack baby we won...jack"

He had blood running down his head, he could barely keep his eyes open. At that moment that's when the police and ambulance came from around the corner.

"Hey baby stay, stay up for me okay? Keep your eyes open your gonna make it"

I was so worried about jack that I didnt even see gabbie...laying on the ground as well.

One year later on Christmas eve

"Dada dada dada"

"Katie are you okay!? What's wrong"

"Dada jack keeps tickling me"

I picked her up and laughed.

"Well let's hide you so Dada jack cant find you come on"

She wanted to hide under the Christmas tree so she went under there and I put Christmas presents in front of her.

"Arghhh where's my little princess"

"Right here daddy" I jumped in his arms and kissed him, I mean how could you not.

"Ahaha hi my love, do u know where katie went"

"I have no clue, OH KATIE! OH KA- AHHHH" he started ticking I can not believe him.

"Katie baby c-come help d-dada"

"I'm on the rescue Dada stoppp"

She jumped on his back and messed up his hair...oh no.

"Oh no my hair arghhh I'm dying cough cough ughhh"

He laid on the floor fake dying while me and katie laughed at him. I laid beside him while Katie laid on the other side of him.

"I love you both so much I couldn't ask for a better family"

"I love you you to jack"

"I love you more dani, thank you for getting on my nerves to make me like Christmas"

"Yah! That's not what happened"

"Through my eyes that is what happened"

"Ohhh I wanna know story time plzzzz"

We both looked at each other and smiled. Who knew that we would come this far only if its been a year. We accomplished so much in the last year. We did have to bury someone special to us but were all okay.

"So once upon a time- knock knock open up"

"UNCLE CORBYN, UNCLE JONAH, AND UNCLE ZACH ARE HERE" she ran towards the door and opened it while I helped jack off the floor.

"Did we interrupt anything princess katie"

"Daddies were gonna tell me a story on how they meet"

"Oh now that seems like fun" we all sat on the living room before getting snacks and jack started the story off once again.

I'm happy I choose to change his mind about Christmas because now hes the love of my life and I couldn't ask for better.
