*(Y/N)'s POV*

As Jeff suddenly ran off into the woods I received a call on my phone. I'm a bit scared right now to be honest. I'm scared there's going to be worse rumors going around and I'll be kicked out of the college I worked so hard to get into. My family will just see me as a disappointment. I'LL see myself as a disappointment. I work so hard for everything I have and just to watch it slowly go down the drain is terrifying to imagine. I took deep breaths, closed my eyes to not see who the caller was, and answered the phone letting a soft "Hello?" escape from my lips.

"Yes, is this (Y/N) I'm speaking to?" said the female voice over the phone.

My stomach turned a bit. Please don't let it be some random chick wanting to talk shit to me because of everything in school.

"Yeah this is (Y/N). Is there anything you need?" I said while gripping my blanket.

"Hello, (Y/N). My name is Stacy Park from Horizon Hospital. I'm a nurse here and the doctor wants her to come here tomorrow to make sure she's doing well. Is that alright?"

What? I furrowed my eyebrows completely confused. Gabby was still in the hospital the last time I visited her. She told me she'd be there for about a month. Maybe the nurse is confused?

"Uh no she's not here. She's still in the hospital, I think you made a mistake Miss." I said and waited for a reply. She stayed quiet for about 10 seconds. I could hear her typing on the computer.

"Um, no Miss. We released her a few days ago. She said she would be resting at home. Did she not tell you she was going back there?"

My palms begin to sweat and the worst thoughts come into my mind. Did she get taken? No no no, don't think about that right now. I'm sure she's fine. I'm sure she has her reasons.

"No...she didn't tell me anything. I have to go. Please give me a call if she goes back to the hospital." I quickly hang up and run downstairs heading to my car. I need to process everything that happened. First, Gabby lied to me about being released in a month. Second, she got released a few days ago but hasn't came home. She hasn't contacted me at all either. So where is she? Her family doesn't live anywhere near here and I'm the only person she hangs out with.

I start the car and think. What place would she go where she'd feel comfortable and safe? Somewhere she's not afraid to be at any time of day? I know she mostly likely stayed at a motel to sleep but it's not that late yet. Somewhere she would be fine resting, something she'd enjoy doing at this time. Then it hit me. The coffee shop. She's probably at the coffee shop. I quickly drive to the coffee shop hoping with all of my heart she's there sitting and drinking coffee. Hoping she's okay and smiling, hoping nothing is wrong with her, hoping she has her reasons for lying to me.

As I arrive at the coffee shop, I look inside and notice people having fun and talking. My heart hurts, I just want her to be okay. I want to laugh and talk with her again. I head into the coffee shop and look around. At the back corner, near the bathroom, I see her. Sitting there at a table just looking at me. What's odd is that there's a guy with cold dead eyes sitting next to her.
