Hi guys, this is my first story here on Wattpad, so please don't judge. I wrote this story over a year ago and I've decided to do something with it. It may be a fairy tale, but anyone can read fairytales. I promise I will finish this story and that it will be worth your time. Enjoy!

Once upon a time in a faraway land, there was a girl called Ella. She lived with her wise, sensible and hard working mother. They were quite poor, but they had just enough money to live on.

One day they had ran out of berries to put on their porridge, so Ella's mum sent her into the woods to get some more. Just before she left, her mother warned her not to walk under the colourful arch. Ella acknowledged this with a cheery wave and a slam of the front door.

The forest was a good, long walk away as they lived in a field that was surrounded by other fields and those fields were surrounded by yet more fields. When she got to the forest she immediately started picking berries and was humming a little tune. Suddenly, she saw an arch. She dropped her berries and stared. It was colourful, and blinding. As she stepped forwards into the light, she remembered her mother's warning. Ella could almost feel herself bursting with curiosity. She decided that she had to make a choice. She chose to ignore her Mother and her wise words of warning and to take one more step, into the rainbow.

As she did, she heard a faint voice saying strange, incomprehensible words. Suddenly she was being whisked and whirled around and around and around until suddenly, everything stopped...

Slowly, she sat up and looked around. She was in the sky, above the clouds in a sort of paradise!?

As she stood up, she became tiny, so tiny that everything was giant, even ants were giants! There were animals everywhere, of all shapes and sizes. There were endless rivers filled with fish, lakes stretching further than you could see with turtles, swans and ducks, jungles with monkeys swinging from the vines, meadows full of flowers, deserts filled with warm, golden sand and forests with trees as green as emeralds.

As she absorbed her surroundings, she realised how much her mother would be worrying about her. She had only meant to be gone for half an hour! She must have been gone for over four! She also started to worry if she would ever get out of the strange paradise. Ella also realised that she hadn't seen one other person up with her! If there were no other humans, who would tell her how to escape? She was about to scream when she had an idea. Maybe she was dreaming? She wished and wished and wished, and pinched and pinched and pinched, but in her heart of hearts, she knew that she wasn't. Then she got an even better, more likely idea. Ding!
